This place was close to all my favorite places to eat and I felt like a vip as the host coordinated a late check out for me cause I was going to to train station with huge luggage, I was also able to do laundry there as she they had a machine! I was very please and would recommend this place to anyone who values location and being treated extra by a host, thank you!

I had an amazing stay! Tea and Deci were incredible hosts, always responsive and helpful. They went above and beyond by assisting me with my visa process in Vietnam, which I truly appreciated. The home was so cozy and comfortable that I felt like staying in bed all day. The landlord was exceptionally friendly and generous, providing us with plenty of delicious food. It was a wonderful experience overall, and I would highly recommend staying here!

Location was fantastic, right in the heart of old quarters and walkable distance to hoan kiem lake but not in the noisy area. the residence faces a quieter stretch with lesser traffic and there’s 24/7 security on site. Jesse was a fantastic host and he assisted us with all our concerns and was reassuring even for questions non related to accommodations as we headed in post- typhoon season. the place has a cozy and warm vibe which we really liked. very clean sheets and fantastic amenities provided!

A perfect place to immerse yourself into the exciting Vietnamese culture. We were there during New Years, the weekend and Vietnam winning against Thailand soccer match! The vibe is energetic and Tim’s place was a perfect central authentic Hanoian space to experience and watch it all. Wonderful street food and coffee in every corner with the quiet lake just behind the flat, perfect for morning and evening walks. Thank you Tim for being such a great host!

Location is absolutely the best thing about this place, but there are a few caveats to be aware of with this home: (1) Be ready to climb a lot of stairs up and down since the kitchen is on the 5th floor. (2) Hot water may run out for longer showers (3) Know that the street in front closes on weekends for the night market so you may not be able to get car rides directly from out front if that's the case. (4) There's a rooftop nightclub that may play very loud music into the night interrupting early sleepers, but I'd expect this to come with the territory in the Old Quarter, and (5) I did also notice temple bell ringing at 6 AM in the morning as other reviewers have pointed out, but it didn't bother me too much. Overall, I would enthusiastically recommend Mang's home to a group of young couples seeking to be conveniently located in the sights and sounds of a bustling Hanoi tourist district, but less so for anyone seeking peace and tranquility.

Best location in the heart of Hanoi.

Booked this place last minute for our stay, but it was a perfect fit for our group of 10. The house is spacious, clean and quite new, located in a quiet local community area. We arrive late at night but check-in was easy thanks to detailed guidance. Host is really helpful and responsive, giving us recommendation of bars/restaurants around. Highly recommended!

We picked this place because one the reviews says it’s really quiet, and it is! The location is very convenient, just neighboring the Train Street. At the same time, it sits in a deep alley so it is away from all the traffic and tourist noise. We have enjoyed our stay very much, and would definitely recommend it to anyone planning to visit Hanoi!

This appartment is right in the middle of the action, the old quarters! There is a public market in the street where this appartment is. It is a bizarre arrangement of multiple floors but we liked it, it was out of the ordinary. I originally thought my difficult knees could handle this adventure but they could not. This is not for not being informed, it was sooo clear in Mai's posting. So we stayed just one night and Mai was fantastically cooperative. So I recommend this appartment, except if you are the lucky one with difficult knees :-)

We had nice time, the place is in old quarter full of local vibes. We just had problem to find the location, as the google maps showed different street. The host should fix that, otherwise is worthy for price

Harley place was great and they were super responsive when there was an issue with the bathroom. Had it fixed in a few hours while we were out at lunch

Great place to stay in the heart of Hanoi. Bon also referred us to private transportation which was affordable and reliable too.

A lil Far from Old Quarter, but very nice and comfortable stay.

Very convenient, only 7 minutes away from Hoan Kiem Lake.

I had a good stay at Hien’s apartment, everything was as expected, the apartment is spotlessly clean and has nice lake view. Everything works - hot water, aircons etc. There are many eateries and cafes around. I chose the place as it’s near my parents’ house, and definitely hope to lease it again.
