Where do I start? This place was absolutely Magical. It is a MUST if you are traveling to the area. The host is a wonderful person with so much insight and experience. If you want to truly escape, this is the place to do it. The rooms are rustic but very comfortable. More than expected out of an eco lodge. Great Views in all directions! So peaceful...

Will return again and again. The treehouse is beautiful, one feels on another planet, the atmosphere super quiet. Thank you Juan and Lolo for your attention!

Great place and very beautiful. Incredible view and clean room. Very friendly and helpful staff. The road uphill is very steep and bumpy. I would recommend at least an SUV. We made it up with a very small vehicle (Kia Picanto), but if you don't feel very confident with your car I wouldn't recommend it. But definitely worth the trip and the money!

Amazing place to disconnect and be. Benjamin went above and beyond to make sure I wss comfortable and had everything for a great stay! Fantastic conversations with him and his friends and family. And great value food. Loved the whole experience and wish I could afford to stay more.. The place itself was as described, quite open and right into the nature around, which gave the raw experience of connection with the nature around. Would highly recommend for a nature retreat sort of thing!

Ryan and Jenny are absolutely lovely hosts. We had a great time hanging with their family, seeing their impressive work growing a small farm and business, and learning to make chocolate from scratch. Our kids loved playing with their daughter and playing with the puppies. They cooked a yummy traditional dinner and breakfast which we ate family style with them. Their dedication to the land and tradition is admirable - ecotourism at its best. Be aware that the roads are rough to get there and it’s pretty remote and rural. The treehouse is absolutely beautiful.

We spent 3 fantastic days with Ryan, Jenny and their two kids at chocolate mountain. We felt very welcome and comfortable with the family and the community! Ryan and Jenny offer a great opportunity to learn more about cocoa and chocolate (and how to make it!) but also to experience the Dominican way of life - including delicious food! A must visit!
