Hotel vacation rentals in Hispaniola

Very quiet and very peaceful. If you want quiet time this is a nice spot to be. There are a few very small local bars and restaurants nearby but not many options. Will need to go to town to do / see anything meaningful. But a wonderful place to get away if solitude is what you are looking for.

Hi had a super stay at El Palacio. Stan and Marianne are super et hosts. The place is very nice, clean and well located . They gave me great recommendations of restaurants and things I could do during my stay. The breakfast was delicious. You must see their antique shop at the first floor of the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I know where I would go the next time I will go to Puerto Plata. ☺️

Cedric was an absolute pleasure to work with. He responded to all our inquiries within moments. He was kind, caring and always helpful. Our suite was beautiful, spacious, clean and had a spectacular view. Airport transportation was worry free. There was always an endless supply of snacks and various meal options to enjoy. The staff overall are amazing, making your stay wonderful. A few comments that I have regarding the resort are no reflection of Cedric. We paid for wifi service and it was not accessible most of the time. Trying to address the service issues was frustrating. Although we understand the process for evening dinner reservations, doing it every few days rather than every day would be easier. Of course you can always go to the buffets which are great. Beautiful resort to enjoy sunshine, relax time and priceless views. Reserve your experience through Cedric. You won’t be disappointed!

It was an advantage for us that breakfast was included in the price. If we had stayed longer, it would have needed a change because there were still only eggs. But the breakfast tasted excellent. Restaurants and the beach are just a short distance away. The hot tub was out of order. And the pool was already outdated, but that didn't matter to us because we got to the beautiful beaches by car. The service was very friendly, smiling and helpful. When we come back, we will definitely come here.

This place is a 5 star plus! I rent the place for my baby gender reveal and Carlos was amazing. The place is huge and clean. Carlos even allow me to use the Heliport and fireworks. I have no words to describe their understanding. I recommend it 100%.

Roberto and Mirka went above and beyond to accommodate me from check in to check out. OUTSTANDING! They were both extremely responsive and the apartment was just what I needed. It was clean and cozy with that "HOME" feeling. The location is great, just walking distance from the beach, restaurants, bars, supermarket, money exchanges, etc. Truly a prime location. I highly recommend this host and his team and will definitely stay in this location again on my future stays in Boca Chica.

Ruben was a great host as always! Babette was also a great host and was very quick to respond to any of my questions. Babette checked on me several times during my stay to ensure that everything was going smoothly. Rudy and the staff were as friendly and polite as they always are during my visits. I truly enjoyed my time at Rubens and look forward to returning again. Ruben's property is becoming my favorite place to stay in Puerto Plata

If you are looking for a turn off noises, beautiful surroundings, peaceful place this is the right place!!!

The residential space is very nice, in Bayahibe there are no long distances and the location of the place is ideal for a good rest. The room is simple, with everything you need and nice decor.

My family and I love it, especially what we liked is that it is as shown in the photos as well as the kitchen, rooms, living room and pool all impeccable. Very good option when looking for peace of mind. But the most important thing was the attention with the host, she was always available to answer my concerns. Thank you very much

Beautiful place great location and amazing communication. My only negative would have to be the bed sheets were a bit rough but everything else over shadowed any issue. Loved the location!

Everything is super good, clean, nice, nice, nice decor, the pool is super good and very good service from the guy in charge. You have to have a car to get there because it is on an unpaved road and has to go up to get there

Lovely studio with own garden. Friendly hosts and good atmosphere. Amazing breakfast available! Central location, just a little noisy on some nights but to expected in the center.

We felt right at home. It is very lovingly decorated and the kitchen is super equipped. It was super clean and cozy. We spontaneously extended one night because we loved it so much! This was also completely spontaneous and uncomplicated. Thank you for this beautiful home for our stay!

This place we loved it,the impeccable cleanliness you have everything you need to feel at home, quiet area to rest two minutes from the barahona malecon,the owner of the house Mrs. Rafaela an ezquisita person I treat us wonderfully and helped us in everything we needed I don't have words to describe the person as special as Rafaela,we will be back soon. Great place to stay

I had amazing stay at Felicia’s. The lodging is set in the hills above town…best view in the area. The room had two beds and a private shower, and was super clean. Everyone was helpful and friendly, even helping me figure out buses for moving on. Felicia is an excellent cook, breakfast was excellent and filling, and the pasta Alfredo was most delicious. I especially enjoyed access to trails through the hills that brought me to some of the most pristine beaches I have ever seen (as in tropical paradise). I even found a trail to Cueva Duarte, which was a treat if you like caves. All in all this is one one of the best air bnb experiences I have encountered because of the helpful nature of Felicia, Roberto and Jenifer, the incredible views of green hills and ocean from the bar area and infinity pool, and the ample and tasty meals prepared by Felicia. I would choose this lodging over the lodging in town any day of the week.
