Townhome vacation rentals in Hilversum

We visited Loosdrecht in December 2014. It is in a beautiful location. It was fairly central to Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Utrecht. Some of the roads were a bit difficult to navigate but we managed with our 9 passenger van. The apartment was clean but smaller than I anticipated. We only had one bathroom which was difficult with 8 people. Caroline was very friendly and helpful. She had hoped to upgrade us to a two bathroom apartment. Unfortunately, they were all unavailable. The lake was beautiful and would probably be lovely in the summer months. The ducks and geese were gorgeous to watch. We had a lovely visit and had everything we needed. It's nice to have a kitchen and washer/dryer.

We had such a great time, Chi's place is huge and very spacious. Our group of 10 had everything we need. The area is quiet yet vibrant, lots to see and do, and you are also 20 minutes from Amsterdam with the free ferry. Chi was a brilliant host, sorted everything out needed beforehand and very friendly and helpful.

Perfect. When life brings me back to Amsterdam, I will try to stay there again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sue’s house! Her home is incredibly lively and welcoming, making it feel like a true home away from home. The location is fantastic, the tram is close by, and it only takes about 30 minutes to get to the station. Uithoorn itself is a stunning area with so much charm, and Sue’s place is conveniently located near shops, which made our stay even more convenient and enjoyable. We highly recommend her place to anyone looking for comfort and a great location. We would definitely stay there again!

I stayed for a month, and the apartment was great. It was so lovely to sit at the open windows overlooking the canal, the bed was very comfortable, I had everything I needed, and it's a short bike ride to anywhere. The tour of the upstairs was fascinating! Good to know: Part of the beauty of this place is that it's near the center, in the old section. That means there are canals everywhere, it has tons of character and history, and it's easy to get anywhere on foot or by bike. It also means that it is near a touristy area. Don't let that stop you! I don't like the hordes of tourists at all, but I was happy here. I simply rode a few blocks away at the busiest times to escape. And Herengracht itself in front of the building isn't crowded. Sure, canal tour boats glide by, but they're fun to watch. The couch is comfy, the chairs are less so, but two people can enjoy the couch. The kitchen is a little bit worn, but it was clean and served my purposes (I did not cook). I would return!

The house fits well the description and was easy to find. A bus stop only 4 minutes of walk and also there’s a supermarket with 7 minutes of walking. The place was clean, cozy and the cat is also really cute!

Very good hosts, both Hanneke and Bart. We went as a family and made us feel at home from the start, always attentive and eager to help. From what it respects the house, it is as we imagined it thanks to the photos, and the couple of guests made its use very easy for us. Located in a quiet neighborhood, it's a beautiful little village to wander around. It is far from Amsterdam, but if you buy the Amsterdam regional ticket, it is well connected by bus and train. Thank you for opening the doors, family! We would repeat for sure!

We really enjoyed our stay at Alina and Tony's home. We were traveling with our 14 month old so it was great to have a crib, high chair and toys for her to play with. The house was super spacious and comfortable and it was beautiful to stay next to the canal! Would definitely recommend staying here!

Our group of 4 enjoyed Mieke’s accommodations. We cooked in for breakfast and dinner; grocery store close and kitchen well stocked. Comfortable livingroom and beds. Nice to have 2 bathrooms. The garden space outside added a touch of hominess, along with her adorable cats; Willem especially entertained us! Location was great with trams to city center only a block away. Very responsive.

My family and I stayed a week in Jos's house to visit the City. By public transport it was easy to get to both the airport and the center with the various museums. Jos's house is very large, comfortable, well furnished and clean, it is located in a quiet neighborhood near a lake with a beach. We didn't meet Jos and his family in person because they were on vacation at the same time, but communication was easy and all the directions were clear.

We had a really lovely stay and Marijke was the perfect host! The apartment was spacious, clean and we loved the art and our kids loved the board games she had set up. The location was quiet and central with lots of great restaurants and shops near by. We really enjoyed it and would highly recommend!

Really like the house of Tamara and Pierre-Yves, around 20 min. walk from Haarlem train station. Near there there is supermarket and bakery for breakfast and grocery. quiet neighborhood for good sleep, a lot of rooms, 3 beds and 1 extra sofa, good for group/family trip. Their house is tidy and clean, late check-in is no problem. They answered to questions quite quickly and provide also good local tips to us. They prepared some welcome wine and beers, really lovely host to be further recommended!

The apartment is very well-located. Rosie was lovely to deal with: very responsive and gave us excellent suggestions. The steep winding staircases to access the apartment and the one inside the apartment are perhaps not suitable for the infirm or elderly. The apartment wasn't super pristine, and a few things were in disrepair. Kind of like if you stayed at a friend's lived-in place, rather than a sterile hotel. The cats are funny and want very much to be where they shouldn't. Good mousers.

Very nice house, very welcoming and responsive host. The house is inhabited and that's what makes it charming, it is the basic principle of AirB&B. The house is served by the bus but only one line, we preferred to go there by bike with the free ferry.

We had a wonderful time at William and Christa property. The house was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing getaway. Christa was incredibly responsive and accommodating, making the booking process and check-in a breeze. We especially enjoyed the beautiful front yard and backyard garden and peaceful neighborhood. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Nice unit in row housing, very quiet neighborhood. Plenty of space, and a well-appointed kitchen for cooking. Right off the canal, with a large playground, grocery store, and tram into central Amsterdam a short walk away. Was too cold for swimming but seems possible. Ivan was great at helping us get settled in. The description was a little vague on bedding, but there is a master bedroom with a large bed, and 2 smaller bedrooms upstairs, all sharing a bathroom. The one bedroom had a loft bed, and the other had an air mattress, which was fine for our 2 kids. This definitely lived in by Boris's family including younger kids, and rented part-time, so definitely "lived in", but also means there's lots of games and such. Some "interesting" possibly kid-inappropriate pictures, if they're paying attention! Overall a perfect place for a few days in Amsterdam!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Haarlem! The apartment was clean, cozy, and perfectly located near all the major attractions. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, always available to answer our questions and provide helpful recommendations. We felt very welcome and at home during our stay. The neighborhood was charming and peaceful, making it a great place to relax after a day of exploring. We only have positive emotions from our experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Haarlem. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Enjoyed this lovely house for 6 days, with all comforts and very cozy.

The house of René’s is much better than what in the pictures, which was designed and renovated with high quality and tast. I love the garden as well, with the beautiful rose and birds. Every morning you will be waken up by the nice birds singing. The location is easy for both pedestrians and for those with bike, auto or boat. René makes notes clearly. You would find all facilities easy to use. Next time if I go to Muiten I would definitely choose the same house.

Marie's place was outstanding and we had a great stay. It is super quiet and comfy, shops with everything you need nearby, calm yet close to the center. Would love to come again!

This was the perfect house for me and our three kids (17, 15, 13). The moment we walked in, we felt at home. It's a gorgeous house with so much character and history to it, beautifully decorated and with lots of space for all of us to hang out and sleep. The location is also fantastic: safe, pretty and you can walk/bike everywhere easily from there plus take a train from the nearby central station to get to yet other places. Nanja is a wonderful host, our communication was seamless. Thank you for letting us stay at your house!

We were 3 older women who booked Maren's place. We really liked the very quiet environment, especially that we could sleep excellently at night. Even though we had to take the tram from Central Station 15'and then 5' on foot, that was absolutely no problem for us. We didn't eat at the place, but it would have been all there to cook meals. In general, everything worked out well and we would recommend the place to anyone.

He had a wonderful 5 days of stay, along with family. Wonderful experience. - the house was huuge and spacious. Big living, dining, full kitchen, service area and a toilet in the ground floor, 2 good sized bedrooms a bathroom/ toilet on the first and a huge 3rd bedroom in the 2nd floor - the house was Squeeky clean, well equipped, 5-mins from the nearest bus stop - all furnishings were comfortable. - we were able to travel to Amsterdam Central in 45 mins using 1 bus and a tram. - Bae was very friendly and very responsive Totally recommend and would definitely return during another visit to Amsterdam.
