Had a lovely, peaceful stay. The fireplace was a highlight during the colder rainy days. Wood was available to purchase on site. We enjoyed the serene & quiet environment whilst being near many different options of restuarants & shops etc. The view from the house & esp. the picnic table was beautiful. In brief a home away from home. Warning - it will be hard to leave this cozy home.

Anthea is a great host with a lovely place. Nothing was unattended too nor were any of our special requests too much effort for her. (Llike an early check in) Its very private and personal but should one need anything at anytime, Anthea is always willing One of my favorite stays. Thank you Anthea, will definitely be back when in the area. P.S.. The muffins and rusks were awesome as was the cozy fireplace.

We had a wonderful stay, everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. Loved the doggos popping in throughout the day. Beautiful surroundings and quiet. The fire place and stash of wood was wonderful for the cold evenings. The cottage was always beautifully cleaned and when we arrived late one night everything was closed with some lights left on and the fireplace ready to use. We will definitely be back soon and looking forward to our next visit!

I loved staying at Lizzi's place while doing some work in the area. Its at the top of Hilton and close to restaurants and shopping centre and a nice peaceful place. I loved staying here while doing hard work during the day. It is close to the forest which I did not have time to do while there but hopefully will be back soon.

We had a fantastic three-day stay at this Airbnb! Even though the weather was rainy, we were able to enjoy the cozy fireplace and relax with some TV time. One of the highlights was having a braai on the balcony, surrounded by nature. Mornings were especially special, with breakfast enjoyed to the soothing sound of the rumbling water in the background. The house itself was comfortable and well-equipped, with each room featuring its own en-suite bathroom—a great convenience! The location, ambiance, and thoughtful touches made this a perfect getaway. Highly recommend!

We loved the lovely lounge, the veranda, and the large dining table that allowed us to catch up together. Zanele, who lives on the property, is friendly and helpful, while Craig is a very responsive and accommodating host.

Had a wonderful stay in a very well equipped cottage. The stairs to the loft are very steep. Perhaps a handrail on the side would make it easier and safer to get up and down. The location is awesome. Very peaceful, safe and secure. Would highly recommend staying here.

Fee's place was very comfortable and well-equipped. The surroundings were beautiful. Unfortunately we had alot of rain and weren't able to cross the river in our vehicles on one of the days to exit the estate, due to flooding, but Fee was amazing at keeping us updated on what was happening. We had a wonderful family weekend! Thanks, Fee!

I booked Lauriane's place for family attending a wedding nearby. The cottage was beautiful. Perfect if you love peace and quiet and especially if you're a horse lover. Access to the nature reserve was also very easy. The accomodation is exactly as described in the listing. Thank you for a great stay. Mum especially enjoyed her morning coffee while watching the horses go by.

We had a wonderful 2 nights at Di's place. Beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches. Well equipped kitchen with sharp knives! Dreamy garden with lots of little 'garden rooms' for a morning coffee or sundowner. Then, to top it off, a delivery of freshly baked muffins with farm butter every morning. Thank you Di, we had a very special stay with you, will most certainly be back when we are next in the Midlands.

I can't be more grateful to this lovely host of this beautiful home. We came to Hilton to the funeral of our dear Mom who passed away suddenly. Katherine our lovely host went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and supported during this incredibly difficult time. Her beautiful home and gardens offered solace and were the perfect spot to remember and reflect our mother with friends and family. I do really look forward to returning one day in happier circumstances. This in spite of being a sad time for us all was one of the best experiences I have had on Airbnb which we use worldwide. Staying with Patrick and Desiray was superb. The location was like a piece of heaven and the hosts were so accommodating and kind. The place was private, farm house style, everything lived well, it was a home with gorgeous art work on the walls and books- just felt like home. It was also easy to keep clean and easy to cook in and find what you need. Loved every second and could have stayed longer!

Excellent location for anyone attending a function at the nearby Torwoodlea lodge. Linda was a great host. Her place is remarkably clean,neat and peaceful. We loved the plants & vegetation, not forgetting the friendly dogs to welcome us. Kitchen is well equipped. Great place if you want peace away from busy city life. Thanks to Linda for accomodating us. We will definitely be back.

A great place to stay with all the ammenties provided. There was a miscommunication with the booking regarding allowing pets, however the host and staff were very accomodating. The home is spacious, perfect for a family getaway. The rooms are clean, bathrooms are clean and everything is in working order from appliances to braai areas etc. There are staff that you can call on if your require any cleaning or additional services. Check-in/Check-out is very independant and simple. There is wifi, TV with all the networks and enough lounge space to relax with the family.

Wow! What a beautiful Gem If you need some peace and quiet, This is the place for you , It’s a bit of a drive out of town into the forest. So make sure you have everything you need when you leave town, but the lovely host has items on hand , if you need (a lovely touch). I absolutely loved everything about this space , The pictures don’t do it justice! It is beautiful and definitely worth the trip I can’t wait to book it again, I definitely will be back
