Great place in Hillcrest, not loud at night yet walkable to fun spots and tons of restaurants!

We loved our 6 weeks at Katrina’s place. We wanted something in the heart of a vibrant part of the city with great restaurants and this apartment was perfect. We found a ton of great restaurants, were less than 1/3 of a mile from Balboa Park, and the apartment was just as described. We also loved and felt very safe with the locked parking garage. Highly recommend.

This is a great place to stay. The unit is extremely clean and tidy, and very modern. The hosts provided ample amounts of the items they indicated they would in their listing eg. shampoo, soap, laundry detergent etc. The hosts responded almost immediately whenever I sent them a message, both before and after booking. The location is very walkable to many different types of restaurants, grocery stores, other stores; but even so, the particular street the unit is located on is very quiet. I enjoyed walking to the weekly Sunday Farmer's Market and to Balboa Park. It's a short drive to downtown and many other attractions. I hope to be back!

Great location, most everything we wanted to do was within a 5-mile radius. (Balboa Park, zoo, USS Midway, Coronado). Grocery was within 1.5 miles. The space in the casita was well organized, comfortable, and efficient. Kitchen had everything we needed, fridge w freezer, toaster oven, washer/dryer and detergent. Great soundbar for enjoying music. Very comfortable bed. Great shower, and lots of natural light in the whole space. Street parking was not a problem. We felt very safe, nice residential neighborhood. Co-hosts Jane and Ian were very kind, welcoming, and responsive. We would stay here again if we ever get back to San Diego.
