Vacation rentals with lake access in Higuillar

Ana María was a great host, very communicative and helpful. offered to even do me and my partners laundry for us ! very friendly and great location. 10/10 would stay here again. the only problem if that would be there was a small stain on one of the toilet paper rolls, but overall no complaints !

What a beautiful property. The pictures and description doesn’t even describe how amazing the property is. We will definitely be back. The view and outdoor area is overlooking the rainforest with fruit trees and flowers! The first evening we saw a double rainbow.

We stayed four weeks and couldn’t have picked a better house. Comfortable and spacious, had everything we needed, even bug spray and sunblock. We loved the area, it’s a middle class working neighborhood with tons of restaurants and stores within walking distance. Everyone was friendly and we felt very safe. The host was very attentive and responsive, told us about the wonderful regional festival going on right by the house. We visited some of the more well known beaches like Escambron, but the beaches right by the house were amazing and super convenient too (Punta Salinas [park to the right as soon as able to and walk along to the right to the most magical spot reminiscent to Blue Lagoon], Isla De Cabras [otw, stop by the funky two-story house and have a pina colada with Lee]). We enjoyed the outside a lot, swam laps in the pool and fished (poles and equipment provided at the house). Recommend visiting Charco Azul and sampling the amazing pork along Ruta del Lechon. Highly recommend.

The location and view was amazing! The hosts were great and friendly!! Very peaceful! I would definitely come back. The location was perfect for us as we like to venture out.

Great house to stay with family and kids. Kids were entertained with all the amenities. Great layout of the house and good use of the rooms with bunk beds. Beautiful view sitting on the back patio with the pool and rainforest. Loved the welcome with food stashed for us to use.

Perfectly located, beach entrance right through the lobby. Chana communicates very quickly! The space was clean, and beautiful. It was the perfect spot for a weekend girls trip, there was 4 of us and plenty of space. The view is AMAZING!!!! Walking distance to restaurants, and things to do right on the beach.

We had an amazing stay at Nadia's place. It was a very convenient location and we had no issues with parking availability within the property. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable and the AC was awesome! I would recommend staying at Nadia's for anyone visiting in San Juan.

We enjoyed our stay at Javier’s place, we appreciated the bottle of wine and chocolates. The place was clean and in a safe and quiet neighborhood. It was so close to the beach (playa punta salinas.) the place is one of 6 units, this one is downstairs and has a studio kind of concept which we loved because it was spacious. The shower had warm water which we’re grateful for since not all places in PR has warm water. We had our own little space in the back with a little pool. We ate breakfast at the local bakery, “Lemy bakery” which was great and close as well! This place also has some night life; there’s a strip of bars that also serve food which we enjoyed. Overall, if you want a taste of the real life in PR then stay here! It’s not a luxurious hotel but it’s exactly what you need to escape and unwind. The only thing I’d suggest is offering your guests some beach chairs, cooler, and beach umbrella since it’s so close to the beach. The beach had some chair rentals but just in case.

One of the best spots I’ve stayed. If you’re looking for private, peaceful getaway near everything, this is the place. Coming back definitely.

Completed another stay at the nautical dream house (lower floor). For anyone looking for lagoon access and amazing food (just down the street from multiple food options in Los Pinones), then this is the place to stay. Zulma was super communicative, and responded quickly to every question we had. The kayak at the location made nice morning and evening paddles around the lagoon a regular occurrence during our stay. It is a much more authentic Puerto Rico feel than staying in other places like Condado or Isla Verde, and the food is by far superior to those locations. Plus, you avoid the traffic in San Juan when headed to destinations like Fajardo or El Yunque. Will be back to stay again for sure!
