This is a fantastic place! There were eight of us, four adults and four kids, and we had plenty of space. The house is clean and comfortable with soft linens, plenty of oversized towels, and has a fully stocked kitchen. The hot tub has exquisite views of the mountains, and there are several waterfalls that we were able visit just a few miles away. Robin is extremely attentive; she answered my questions very promptly and also provided some suggestions on things to do and places to go. Robin’s home is an amazing find and was a great place to spend a week celebrating the holidays and a few family birthdays!

Our stay was enjoyable, especially with the close proximity to waterfall hiking trails and excellent local cuisine. The backyard was perfect for our dog, and we appreciated the cozy living room and blackout curtains, which made relaxing easy after long days outdoors.

The airbnb was just as luxurious in person as it looked in the pictures! It was very clean and spacious. It did not disappoint!

This is the second time we have stayed here and it wont be the last. The house is located right behind Main Street, so you can easily walk to all the restaurants, bars, and shops. We love coming here in the winter for skiing (only 30 minutes from Cataloochee Ski Resort). The house has a hot tub and fire pit to warm up in the chilly weather. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and the house is always so clean/well stocked. I highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the 1922 Farmhouse. Such a cute home and loved being down in that gully. Gina was accommodating to our family and doggies and we are so thankful to her for that. We all loved waking up to that beautiful creek roaring. The location is amazing and we’re extremely pleased to be able to turn right off the property and be right in downtown or turn left and be in the national park. Location was what really sold us here. The house is certainly haunted but we armed ourselves with the Word and prayer after that first night and we were ok. For prospect guests, i will mention I have an almost 2yr old with zero sense of danger.. the open flame heater in the middle of the home was unnerving and it was pretty hard to baby proof the space so something to consider there.

My group enjoyed our stay. The view is very beautiful and the house is gorgeously decorated. Beds were great and it slept 7 people very comfortably. We only had a few minor qualms with the place: the ice machine was completely overflowed and wouldn’t stop producing ice, so anytime you opened the freezer, a ton of ice would fall onto the floor. The host only provides a bar of soap and no shampoo, but I think it is pretty standard to provide at least shampoo, especially at the price point. The shower is gorgeous though. They had two coffee machines, but didnt provide and coffee. The propane tank on the grill was completely empty and we figured that out after we prepped everything to grill. Plus the igniter button was missing, so we couldn’t light it without physically using a lighter anyways. The propane for the outdoor fireplace only lasted about 20 minutes before it kicked the bucket too. Other than that, the stay was great! Those are just minor issues that we noticed.

This space is a true gem in the mountains! I was quite surprised by how high up the mountain it was but was easily ascended with our mini van rental. She took extra time to decorate the house with festive Christmas decorations and it made it truly special. Best Airbnb experience ever!

Always a 5-star place to stay. We have family in Franklin and always want this house and are very disappointed if it is already taken. Quiet, peaceful location. Easy to get to. It's always neat and clean, decorated so beautifully. Plenty of amenities. We've stayed in other houses (when we couldn't get this one) and the host only provided 1 dishwasher pod, 1 laundry pod, 1 trash bag, etc. - certainly not enough for a weekend. Cherisse is always available and helpful. A perfect host.

Gloria and Bob’s lake cabin is one of the most beautiful, peaceful and relaxing places we’ve ever stayed! My wife and I went for our 1-Year Wedding Anniversary, and their place was perfect to unwind and spend quality time together. They welcomed us with such a thoughtful anniversary gift upon arrival and were incredibly accommodating to us when we had some personal car problems. The people in this town, and Gloria and Bob, are true testaments of the word “hospitality”. Highly recommend and will most certainly be back again.

Fun spot close to downtown and the trail through town. It is a small house, and worked well for our family of 4.

My family and I loved staying at Eva’s house! We stayed here for a month while looking for permanent housing and we couldn’t ask for a better place! It’s beautiful inside, very warm and homey feeling and the covered porch is so peaceful to sit and watch the birds and squirrels. Our son loved the basement area, while my husband and I loved the privacy and the trees, very peaceful and relaxing.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. We stayed there in the spring, so felt right at home. Doris is lovely, always helpful. We had everything we needed from the time we walked in the door. The area is quiet and quaint. We will surely stay here again.

We loved staying in Lei’s beautiful home for our girls’ weekend. There was plenty of space for all 10 of us to spread out. The house is in the most convenient location for exploring trails and downtown, and Lei provided us with the local happenings for the weekend, which was great. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could have needed for cooking meals at the house. We happened to stay over an extremely cold weekend, and unfortunately ran into an issue with the pipes being frozen when we arrived. Lei was extremely responsive when I reached out and had someone local come by immediately to check out the house and solve the problem quickly. She was such a great host and checked back in throughout the weekend to be sure everything else was going well. Thank you, Lei! Highly recommend staying here for your Highlands vacation!

Christy’s place was such a great stay for our family’s first vacation with our son. The views off the front porch are beautiful as well as the place itself. On top of that it’s located so conveniently close to town (though you’d never think that with how secluded it feels) making it easy to get groceries and hop on the highway to get to wherever you’re trying to go that day. Christy was so helpful during our stay and answered all our questions quickly.

We loved our stay at Creekside Haven! The cozy cabin had plenty of space for our family to spread out and to hang together. The push button fireplace is wonderful! The sound of the rushing creek was lovely. We greatly enjoyed the heated pool on rainy days and “apres ski”. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Being so close to Cataloochee was very convenient! There’s lots of cute little shops and places to eat. We had great meals at Joeys Pancake House, J Arthur’s, Catrina’s Cantina, and Beach Mountain Diner. Overall, our Maggie Valley trip was awesome, we will be back, and we would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone planning to visit!

We traveled to John’s place from Louisiana with three young kids - 5, 3, and 1. We could not have picked a better house to meet our needs. The house was impeccably clean and had so many little extras like laundry detergent and a few key spices. The kids loved the playground and we loved that the house was one story, totally eliminating the stair fear factor with the toddler. We cooked many of the nights we were in town and the house had absolutely everything we needed, down to tin foil to make clean up easy! The location was great - we made day trips to Brevard, Cashiers, Clemson, and the Highlands. We have already recommended this place to friends looking to plan a family vacation to the area. One of our favorite stays yet!

Very comfortable, quiet home. I felt like we were the first guests based on the cleanliness. We enjoyed sitting on the patio watching for wildlife and played a few games of foosball. Easy instructions, no fuss. Thank you.

We had an amazing stay here over Presidents’ Day weekend. We had four families stay in the home and the best part was the amazing outdoor activities for all the kids. The indoor space was comfortable for each couple and plenty of room and fun things to do! We can’t wait to come back.

My family and I were very impressed with the house! We visited for Thanksgiving and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware. Lynette even left a very yummy apple pie on the counter for us! The house was cozy and clean. Beds were comfortable. The WiFi worked well. There was plenty of space for the 5 of us and could easily accommodate a few more folks. We would love to stay here again!

Keith was very responsive and helpful from the moment I booked the BNB for the weekend. Very simple process and the details and instructions were very clear and easy to understand. The house is beautiful in a great location with perfect sleeping arrangements for a group of 8-9. Highly recommended booking this location for your next trip to the lake
