Vacation rentals with a sauna in Highland Council

Me and my parents booked this place for a night on the way to isle of skye and had the most amazing experience. The airbnb itself was way bigger than expected and was extremely clean. And then the grounds around it were even nicer. I was initially drawn in by the pool but we ended up spending the whole night in the billiard room that’s in the old refractory. The staff at the club is super nice and gives you a tour explaining all the history of the place while showing you to the room. Fort Augustus is also a really cute town to explore. overall the best place I’ve stayed so far in Scotland!!

We loved our stay. It is unique and comfortable. The architecture was beautiful, and our children loved being able to play in the pool. It was the highlight of their vacation, while we enjoyed all the Highlands have to offer. Our key fab wasn't working on the first night into the pool--it is ran separately from the host. We luckily ran into someone who worked there late at night that could help us, otherwise we would have had some really unhappy children. Overall, it was a lovely stay and would absolutely do it again!

The Abby was charming and lots of space in our unit. The family had room to spread out. The town of Fort Augustus was nice through restaurant selection was limited and you had better order by 8pm or the kitchens close. The rooftop deck with enclosed sphere was very nice. The sphere kept out the wind and rain (Which Scotland is known to have in abundance!)

Absolutely lovely place. Beautiful building. Our stay was perfect. There's nothing else to say. It was that good.

What an amazing stay! This was a full apartment right on the shore of Loch Ness. The Abbey grounds were beautiful and quiet. There was so much to do without even leaving the property. There are 75 stairs up to the apartment, but they got easier everyday we were there and were well worth it. I would absolutely have stayed longer and would stay again.

Love the location. Hospitality was excellent. We traveled with two kids and there was gift baskets for both kids upon arrival. Also had milk in fridge and a welcome basket. We also enjoyed the pool! One thing we didn't like was the doors to the bedrooms were really heavy and it gave it a closed in dungeon feel. Also being on the top floor beware of the steps. Overall beautiful location and great for the four of us!

It is an amazing flat. Well decorated and with a lot of extras like a welcome basket. The Abbey itself is fabulous as well as the grounds. We enjoyed the swimming Pool and the sauna.

Lovely spot. Cottage and the resort had everything we needed.

This place is so amazing with Loch Ness and so cool Abbey. Beautiful environment. Feeling Harry Potter life.

The Highland club was a wonderful spot to stay in with the beautiful view of Loch Ness a few steps from your door. I love being in nature so this was perfect holiday. Very responsive host and the staff were wonderful.

Had a lovely highland getaway at this beautiful property. Having two bathrooms and two places to relax was so helpful for being a larger group

This was one of our favourite stays on our trip. So much charm in this historic house with all the renovations that made this house a perfect and comfortable stay for our group of 8. Private but walking distance into town and shops, I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Had lovely week break at Silver Stag. Great location-quick walk to town centre/lots of dog walks around/amazing outside space. Cat provided lots of detail on area around which was very helpful.

Lovely place to stay and we were greeted with a amazing welcome basket, including treats for the dogs. You can tell a lot of love has gone into renovating and the place is stunning. Highly recommend!

The house was perfect it was like staying in house very compatible to my own home so felt really comfortable the house is very well equipped with absolutely everything you need for your stay we only had a little issue the master bedroom is stunning but unfortunately the bath water did not heat enough for a bath thankfully there was another 3 showers so we were not stuck but I would loved to have a bath after a busy day with 5 grandkids but I will definitely return to this property if in this area or Inverness area for sure

Well we had a marvellous stay and the dogs did too. All 3 had the holiday of a lifetime. The location was beautiful and the grounds were just the best part. Amazing water access. Enclosed garden and huge outdoor area. Sauna was fantastic best I've used in any accommodation. Hot tub was a nice addition takes a while to heat with the fire but all added to the charm. Would love to go back again with some boats and use the firepit. But it was like having your own dog park! Very private and beautiful views.

Great stay for a long weekend with the family. Plenty of space for us to chill and enjoy the surroundings are stunning. Host was great with keeping in contact and recommending places and things to do.
