Beachfront vacation rentals in Hermosa Beach

Overall a great place to stay in Malibu. Ideal location on the beach with its own private entrance. The house was complete furnished as described. If you plan to airbnb keep in mind that this place uses a septic tank. If you are not used to the smell of the septic tank it may throw you off. It wasn't a nasty smell but a unique odors that we needed to address occasionally with candles and airing out the unit.

Unfortunately didn’t get to stay in this exact Airbnb due to a maintenance issue. But Larry did everything he could do to make sure I had appropriate accommodation, was easy to communicate with, and even still gave me access to the sauna and rooftop pool. Thanks for helping me have a great trip Larry!

Anna was a great host—very responsive and attentive. Her home was spotless and a fantastic deal for the location! Easy, walkable access to the whole property. Will definitely return!

Melody's place at the Malibu Outrigger is a total gem - peaceful and private, with the sound of crashing waves. Access to the clean, private beach couldn't be easier (head down to the ground floor and it's steps from there), and the pool, jacuzzi and lounge area on the grounds are all well-maintained and comfortable. Great jumping-off point for exploring Malibu (a plaza about a mile down the road has a ton of great shops and restaurants, including Howdy's and Taverna Tony).

Yese was a very responsive and helpful host. The building is huge but very quiet and we hardly saw anyone in the hallway. The apartment was very clean. Safe and convenient location for a mother and teen traveling - easy access to the local freeway, Ralph Supermarket and Starbucks were a 5 min walk away. The parking lot was a bit of a maze but once you drive through once or twice, you know where to go and which elevators to take. The only con is the pillows! The mattress was very comfortable but the pillows need to be updated/upgraded. Overall, a great stay.

This was one of the most beautiful locations I have stayed at! I am an avid traveler and advisor, so I have stayed MANY places. This was my first visit to Malibu specifically, and Bill and his space were nothing short of amazing. You can hear the waves from anywhere in the home, and it is so peaceful. All of the linens and towels were cleaned, with ample amounts of extra pieces! There was also MULTIPLE different kinds of shampoos and conditioners that were provided, plus small things you may not think about such as cotton balls and Bobby pins. The kitchen has all condiments and every utensil you may need to cook! We felt safe and secure, and the neighbors were also so kind and lovely. The secured parking structure and entrance was helpful and the shared pool and hot tub were a great addition. This is a 10/10, and in walking distance to Nobu and other popular restaurants! If you are thinking of booking here, do not hesitate!

Absolutely gorgeous. Loved hearing the waves crashing at night. Dolphins and seals right in front of the property. Amazing food all around within walking distance. The strand was so cool too. Kristina was an amazing host too. Way above and beyond. Thanks so much!!!

Given that the second bathroom in outside with a quick walk down side of house, it was lovely and big. Yes, the home is older but extra cozy. The beds were good and small kitchen perfect for cooking. Could use one more serving bowl. Location was divine! short walk to Marine Street and ferry. A quiet, lovely street. We loved the french doors and half doors to let a beach breeze circulate. Washer and dryer were convenient. Parking always available on street. Granted, it is not brand new but had all we needed. Could not have enjoyed ourselves more. We would definitely love to return in the future.

Can’t beat this amazing beach front location in Belmont Shore. The views from the living room, master bedroom and back patio will leave you mesmerized and make it hard to leave the home. Luckily the neighborhood is so quaint with walking paths on both sides of the peninsula that you will want to enjoy a morning stroll, if not a run on the beach. The house is so roomy that we could comfortably fit our extended family without anyone tripping over each other. The hosts were extremely responsive and provided detailed information to make sure we immediately felt at home. We highly recommend this beautiful home!

Fantastic host! Stocked the fridge with water and left us some fruit and chocolate for our arrival. Gave us early check in and late checkout. The house itself was very clean and well maintained. The upstairs bathrooms even have bidets. Would 100% stay again. The only negative worth mentioning is the house is on a main road so there was car noise audible in the mornings. But that's the trade off for being directly across from the beach entrance.

It was an amazing place to stay with beautiful rooftop views. Clifton was very helpful with checking and with any questions I had. Although beware. Like other reviews the only thing is there is at of stairs as every rooms and living room are on separate floors. It’s definitely not a complaint for me but you can find it tiring after a long day out. There was clean linens, towels, and toiletries available. Has a gas stove that worked great with some pans included that we made French toast with. The area also great and felt safe 24/7. It had garage parking which is great as the area can fill up during the day time with people going to the beach. I’d highly recommend the place, especially if staying for multiple days or with other people. It’s a great roomy location that I hope to be able to return to sometime.

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was very comfortable and perfect for our stay. TV options were great for relaxing at night. Mark was very helpful and responded very rapidly to any questions we had. having a designated parking spot was amazing. would definitely stay again.

This was our first air bnb experience , and it was amazing ! So flexible, wonderful experience, great amenities. We were able to check in a few hours earlier, and everything was clean and exactly like the photos. Will be returning for sure! :) thank you!

Thank you for having us. This hike was immaculate for our family of 5 we had so much fun ! The hike was spotless , the host was vet communicative and was accommodating to our early check in with little ones.

What a seamless check in and check out With no visits from maintenance people. We really enjoyed our stay, it was the perfect getaway and was very relaxing. A charming duplex overlooking the marina with lots of comfortable furniture to sit on, a lovely deck and a fireplace. My one suggestion would be to convert one of the tub/shower units to a walk-in shower. Other than that, loved my stay!

Location, location, location!! We loved our stay at this airbnb in Newport Beach. Being right on the sand just a few blocks from the pier and so many restaurants and shops was such fun. I worried about privacy with so many people walking, jogging, biking etc right past our front sliding doors - but I realized the glass is mirrored, so during the day no one can see in. At night there are full shades - so privacy was not a problem. The apartment looked just like the photos. It was very clean and had everything we needed despite how small it was. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. Great to have garage parking - but beware - it's a small spot. I would definitely stay here again.

My daughters and I stayed at Darren's over the holiday and could not have picked a better home. The location was perfect. From the ocean being steps away to fabulous restaurants and shopping within easy walking distance. The house confused me a bit at first as I thought the listing said "entire house" so just know it's the downstairs unit. But it's exactly as the pictures show. It has a perfect beach bungalow feel and is very cozy. Everything we needed was already there from kitchenware to shower products and even a hair dryer but most importantly for that area- a parking spot! it's a tight fit but it's a lifesaver. AND- Darren was a great host. He was so communicative. We never had an emergency but I have zero doubt that if we did he would have been available to take care of it. we will definitely be back!

We had a lovely time. We've rented in Newport 5 times in the last 3 years and this property was one of our favorites. Amy & Jan were communicative and their instructions clear. They left us a basket of snacks and drinks in the fridge. The house was spacious and bright, especially the common area. A great space to hang out with your loved ones. Check-out instructions were not onerous and preparation took our family ~15 minutes. We usually stay oceanside of Balboa and we weren't sure if we would enjoy this side of Balboa. The street of the house was quiet and we liked the location. Ofc, there was a house on the block being rehabbed, so there was some early morning noise. Not anyone's fault with rehabbing all over Newport. The garage fits two cars and is also where the laundry is located. Balboa Pier is slightly closer than Newport Pier, but both are an easy walk. The skylight in the master BR does not have a shade, so a sleep mask may be needed for some. Thank you Amy and Jan!

Such a peaceful community in such a vibrant place. Close to Venice Beach and the Santa Monica pier. The home and linens were squeaky clean. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. The people watching, plane watching, and boat watching provides non stop entertainment. We even saw a sea lion and dolphins. This place is magical and we can’t wait to come back!

Great space close to the beach. Plenty of room- we had 4, could easily accommodate more. Walkable to restaurants and shops. You do have to cross a busy road to get to the beach, but not a huge problem.

The house was such an amazing location. Loved the direct beach access, easy to walk to many great restaurants and shops. Emily was so clear with all instructions, including that the house does sit on a public walkway so we knew exactly what to expect. She even let us know that one of our main activities we were visiting for was really not close to her house, appreciate all the upfront information. Felt it was a great value for what we paid, already looking to book again.

We had such a comfortable stay as a family of 4 with two small kids on a spring break getaway. Accommodations were comfortable and amenities provided everything we needed especially the dishwasher, full kitchen, television set up with roku so we could log into Disney+ and download PBS Kids, and laundry! Proximity to the beach was also very convenient. We felt right at home.
