Place is out of this world, view is to die for, place is just gorgeous, we loved it ,,, it was perfect, would really love to come back for few more days next time

We had a family reunion at Andre and Jeans home and it could not have been more perfect. Each family had their own space, the kids could play in the garden or down at the sea, there was a cot for our baby and a baby bath, the kitchen was fully equipped with all our needs. We really needed nothing more! We will certainly be back again.

What a wonderful place to stay. Our host Ester was extremely helpful, the house was ideal for our family getaway and close enough that we could go for walks along the beach boardwalk We will definitely remember this house for the next stay !

We had a fantastic stay at this coastal home in Onrus. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the coastal path, ideal for morning walks. The house itself is spacious and well-equipped, offering everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. The large front lawn was a big hit with the kids—they loved having plenty of space to play. The neighbourhood is quiet and felt very safe, which was a bonus as the kids could ride their bikes on the street without any worries. The house was clean, stylish, and practical, making it easy to relax and enjoy our time. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking to stay in a quite part of onrus!

My family and I had such a fantastic stay at Johanri’s place, we felt right at home. Johanri communicated well and was super helpful! Lovely safe space for my dog too. Despite the weather not being the best we still enjoyed a lovely walk to and along the coastal path. A hidden gem in sandbaai.

The real-life space totally surpasses the photos (and the photos are GORGEOUS). The decor is modern and clean, the space is pristine and homey. Everything we needed was provided and easily accessible. They truly one of the best accommodations I have ever stayed in. Will 100% be back!

What a fantastic stay! The accommodation itself was so clean, beautifully decorated and had all amenities you could need. We stayed as a family of four and it was plenty big enough. And the view, wow!! One of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed. We saw whales breaching right from the window which was just amazing. The location is also brilliant - right on the boardwalk and only about a 10 minute walk into the centre of town. Host was very friendly, flexible and great communication. Would highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back.

This is a great venue. It's close to the main town activities and shops and easy and safe to walk to. Beautiful views and serene environment. Elaine was amazing in receiving me, providing guidance on what to do and she checked in while I was staying there. I had a great vacation. Thank you!

Great Location and beautiful place. Spacious, lovely comfortable bed. Kitchen inventory of crockery and utensils does not have a lot - but is adequate for 2 people. Would stay here again anytime

This is a beautiful home in a great location. We loved whale watching from the comfort of our house. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you would need. Bed were comfy and having an en suite bathroom was perfect. Our only regret was having to leave.

This flat was perfect for our needs. Beautifully located with fantastic views of the sea and so many small birds in the vegetation around the flat. Just perfect to relax and enjoy. Sarina was extremely helpful - a great host. The flat is small but has everything you need (and more!) . Everything was spotless and we couldn’t have asked for s better place to stay so near the sea. I can highly recommend.

What an incredible stay in Hermanus! A hidden gem with ample space and amazing views. Every room was comfortable and all guests were catered for perfectly. The amenities are excellent with a large braai area, clean swimming pool and well kept gardens. Would highly recommend.

Great place by the sea. We stopped over one night on our drive through to Cape Town and this was a lovely home! We couldn't have asked for more - very spacious and well-equipped place with super views! Would recommend for anyone looking for a stay in the area.

The historic Herbert Baker design provided a comfortable and homely space to dwell in. Our family felt at home immediately. Its was a privilege to have spent the few days at this property.

Only one word from the check in to check out everything was great...

This was our second stay and it was just as good as the first. Ciska fixed a couple of small issues immediately. Beds and bedding were all top quality and very comfortable. Thoroughly recommended.

Really beautiful house with beautiful views. Short (steep!) walk to private beach was breathtaking. The house was spacious with good space for large groups to sit and catch up. Nice big bathrooms. Plenty of crockery, cups and glasses, comfy beds etc etc. We had a wonderful stay!

We have booked Bruce's wonderful Whale Huys for our extended family holidays... we were a small group of nine people. I used to live in Gansbaai and De Kelders for a decade in 20 years ago, and my parents and my brother's family had already visited the region also. What a pleasure to discover Bruce's amazing house and to be able to enjoy Walker Bay and the coastline of De Kelders from this house. René, the property manager, welcomed us to the house and showed us the facilities. The house was absolutely perfect for our family and our stay... we just wish we had more time. The house is stunning and offers incredible views over the Ocean and Walker Bay... looking westward, the sunsets are just stunning. The house had every amenity one could need or dream of. The rooms and spaces were spacious, comfortable and perfect, the terraces were amazing, the bar room overlooking the pool was ideal, etc. Just the perfect home away from home. I highly recommend this house when visiting the region!
