Beachfront vacation rentals in Hermanus

Run, don’t walk, to Sally’s place! We had an amazing peaceful weekend. Morning and evening walks to the beach. We saw a large colony of penguins, as well as a baby fur seal in additions to amazing bird and flower life. She had everything one could need for a weekend escape. We lit the fire every night and watched the stars from the porch. Highly recommend and would come back in an instant.

this was our second stay at Ethan's. the house is comfortable for 2 families and has everything you need. Ethan's communication is great. we loved our stay here.

We had a wonderful stay at Leatitia’s place. Leatitia welcomed us warmly and we felt extremely relaxed and comfortable during our stay. The location is top class…walking distance to all the beaches within the Voelklip area. Long lazy afternoons enjoying the garden and Braai area. The snooker table was a wonderful fun addition. We had a wonderful stay. The house is well located in Hermanus, very close to the beach (only a few mins before you ca dip your toes in the water) and there's a lovely beach bar/restaurant called 'Dutchies' at a stone throw distance. What really was my highlight was the amazing braai and the long table in the courtyard. You can truly throw a nice braai here!

Waking up to a sea view was a treat, but the real surprise was discovering a cupboard full of old board games and puzzles I remembered from my childhood. We had such fun playing together as a family. Long beach walks, friendly chats with locals — it all added to the charm. It’s not fancy, but it’s full of heart. A magical spot by the sea, perfect for making memories with the kids.

A beautiful, neat and tidy place within walking distance to the beach! The house has everything you need including a Nespresso machine! We were also able to bring the pets with and the braai area was enclosed and a great place to entertain family. Overall we had a relaxing stress free holiday!!! Thank you so much!

We only stayed for a couple of nights but the villa was great for our 3 families. It's light and airy, safe and peaceful. It's a few minutes walk to the stunning coastal path and various beaches. It's a bit far to walk into town, but there's a great local restaurant just round the corner (Lizette's) that is worth a visit.

The house has a perfect concept, is fully equipped and is beautifully located just in front of the open sea. The information before arriving is very complete and the response to questions immediate. Would love to come back for longer and can definitely recommend it! Frederic

We loved the great apartment with the big glass windows and the terrace. The view on the ocean is stunning and you have direct beach access. Communication and check in was super easy, everything was clean so we definitely would come back again.

Stunning stress free stay! Incredible large balcony on the lower level and easy access to the rooftop’s pristine pool, jacuzzi, lounges and breathtaking views! Walkable to beach restaurants shops. Chill area with a near empty beach! Easy to use kitchen and comfy bed! Twas a truly relaxing restful time spoiling my mother 🤗. Will bring the whole family next time!

Our time was wonderful: the hosts were very helpful, the apartment is by far the nicest airbnb we've had so far. The only thing to note is that you hardly get to have breakfast on the wonderful terrace as you are constantly distracted by whales and dolphins in the sea, which you can watch from the terrace :)Many thanks for a wonderful time!

Our family of 5 spent a wonderful week in this beautiful house over new years. The house is in a great position in Voelklip - it is very secure and well kitted out. Lovely to sit outside in the shaded garden in the evenings and kids loved the pool. Great hosts and easy check-in and check-out. We will be back!

Probably the best weekend I’ve had in a long while! We decided to host an intimate gathering with our close friends to celebrate a special occasion on one of the nights we stayed there. The hosts were extremely accommodating and made sure everything went smooth! Heide was the perfect concierge and stepped in as the event planner we needed, taking a lot off our shoulders. Eric was very welcoming and hospitable. The location is phenomenal, the main bedroom is to die for, and the access to the beach unbeatable. I spent hours on the deck reading and watching my family play on the beach while the hubby took a nap with the doors open letting the ocean breeze in. We literally couldn’t ask for anything more and our family is planning on making this an annual vacation spot for the foreseeable future!

A lovely property - just like the pictures. A space that worked Perfectly for our family. I could have moved in with that view. Courage was an added gem so helpful and polite. It's our third stay at this villa at Kennedys and it remains a spectacularly beautiful and different destination. The villa is eclectic with interesting furnishings reflecting the world travels of the owners. There are different place to site inside and outside and the location of the kolkol hot tub is truly spectacular with views across the lagoon and onto Onrus beach. The magical milkwood trees set the tone for a magical stay. The villa has all the amenities you could want, James the butler is always in attendance when you need him and the privacy is great. Its easy walking distance to Milk Restaurant and there are great coastal walks from the villa if you feel the need to leave your luxurious apartment. The fact that we have been there three times already speaks volumes about just how much we like it there and we will be back for a fourth time.

We had such a wonderful weekend at this beautiful home, it was perfect! The house is beautiful and has everything you need. The main area is modern with plenty space and the rooms are clean and have stunning views. We really enjoyed our time here and our host was absolutely fantastic! I could not recommend this place enough :)

The house is very smart with amazing sea views in almost every room. Tastefully renovated with two amazing braai areas. Enough space for the kids and walking distance from beach and lagoon. All and all a strong recommendation from me!
