Places to stay in Henley-on-Thames

We really had no idea about the area as we were winding up a long trip to the UK from the USA, so we are very glad we ended up at Jeremy's place. It was a good place to spread out with three different levels. We had to contact Jeremy a couple of times about using appliances and the hot water (due to differences between UK and US ones), and he immediately responded which is very appreciated. Restaurants and shops are literally around the corner and Windsor Castle is an easy walk. The river walk at Eton is nice, also. Great view of the castle from one of the upstairs windows!

Lovely place and very easy to find. It’s in a great location as you can walk to the centre without it being in the noise. Instructions were very clear. We would definitely stay again!

Peter’s property was ideal for us in between selling our home and moving abroad, and he even accommodated our five pets which was brilliant and more than you could hope for with a usual air BnB property. Peter was easy to communicate with and very helpful. We were so pleased and would definitely stay again if we are even in the area!

This is a beautiful house nearby all the sites of Oxford. It was a great size and fit is five very comfortablely. Liam was a very responsive host and when a few complications arose, he addressed them quickly.

Our engineers were happy and comfortable in the property. It was a lovely property and close to amenities for the lads, and a they reported that it was a home from home feel. The check in instructions were and clear and Koala were quick to respond to any queries we had. Overall excellent customer service and would definitely use again!

Clare was an exceptional host—extremely helpful and always willing to go the extra mile. The house itself is stunning: spacious, beautifully designed, and complemented by a lovely garden. The location is perfect, offering picturesque walks and plenty of activities to enjoy. I will definitely be returning soon and highly recommend this experience. :)

Hamid’s place was very clean and cozy.

Absolutely gorgeous home . We loved every moment of it. The house has an incredible kitchen and great little snugs downstairs. Lovely bedrooms upstairs and a large garden to the front of the home , surrounded by a bricked wall and some paddocks to the side. Some breakfast and drinks were left for us on arrival, which was lovely. We stayed for two nights and would definitely come back. Just a note for future guests : The house is hard to find for delivery drivers so just make sure you write in the notes that it’s opposite court lane on village road, otherwise they all end up going to the village pub , which is down the road! Our stay at the Oak Barn at Hedsor was wonderful. The lodging itself is beautiful with large bedrooms and a huge sitting and dining area upstairs beneath the large oak beams. The location worked well as it allowed us to explore the Thames Valley and make two day trips into London. The estate property is beautiful, so do walk and note the different trees and plantings. We highly recommend this property and the people who live and work there.

Its always a pleasure staying at Melanie's wonderful cabin. The accommodation is open plan, very spacious with a cosy homely feel. The surroundings are private and the cabin is located at the end of a long gated driveway. The cabin is close to the main house but the orientation and layout gives you total privacy with a lovely view of the gardens.
