Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Henderson County

We had our family Thanksgiving a week early at Danielle's Hendersonville house with the idea that we'll choose a different location each year. I sincerely hope I can convince everyone to come back again next year, and stay a day longer next time!

We had a great stay at the Pisgah house- perfect location close to the entrance of the Pisgah Forrest- at hiking trails in less than 15 minutes, as well as less then 10 minutes to downtown Brevard restaurants. 100% cotton sheets on the beds were well appreciated. While we didn't have bikes or a dog, this house is definitely set up for those that do!

This is the best neighborhood we have stayed in during visits to Western NC. It’s a beautiful forest location with quiet streets people walk and jog…very little traffic. The house is in great condition and well equipped. The hosts were responsive and helpful. We would very much enjoy coming back.

Laurelwood Cabin was super clean & in a great location. Beds & pillows were very comfortable, showers were great, rooms were spacious, and the decor is perfect. Equipped with all the amenities you could need. This cabin is the closest to the main road, and although there were noise machines in the bedrooms, we didn't even have to use them - it's hardly noticeable. Elisabeth was friendly, responsive & helpful. We took advantage of partner discounts on Biltmore tickets. Definitely an unexpected & very nice perk. Would absolutely stay here again!

This home was just what we wanted- convenient, easy to get to and comfortable. Ken and Kim are great hosts! We would highly recommend Sunset Place and hope to come back again soon! Thank you Ken and Kim!

Unfortunately we arrived at the same time Hurricane Helene. I’m so glad Liz lived up the hill from us . They are wonderful people . I can’t say enough kind words about them! That whole neighborhood on the mountain and the farmer at the bottom of the mountain came together and got us off the mountain!🥰. You couldn’t have better neighbors. They gave us water. Liz cooked pizza on the grill. I am grateful to have met such nice people. Thank you Liz and Jonathon.

The house was beautiful inside and out. My family and I stayed for Thanksgiving so we could celebrate with my Nana who live close by. We all very much enjoyed our stay. As soon as we walked in we felt at home. There was something for everyone to do there. There were board games, seating on the back porch and in the backyard, they had a grill outside (which we didn't use but it was still nice to have around). Our favorite though was the little air hockey game in the garage area. There were towels folded on each of the beds and even some make up towels for the women. The hosts themselves were very easy to contact/ would respond quickly and were super nice. The house was everything we needed for our holiday trip and is much more preferable over the hotels in the area, considering how dirty and uncomfortable the rooms in all those hotels are. I would HIGHLY recommend this place for anyone taking a trip to Hendersonville!

The location was peaceful and quiet with a big backyard. The hosts left a book with excellent options for dining, sightseeing, and all of the things you would need to know in the area. It was overall great!

We came up for a small get away around Thanksgiving. It was a very pleasant, comfortable apt. That had everything we needed. It was a very private stay even with it being a basement apt. It also smelled really clean and fresh and was super tidy. Lynda has designed this apt beautifully. The beds were super comfy! Lynda and her husband were super nice and very quiet. They offered any assistance we might have needed. The property offered a spectacular view of the mountains!! We would absolutely stay here again!

What a great place! Very clean, spacious, quiet, nicely decorated, and extremely comfortable. The view from the porch was special, and we enjoyed just sitting there and watching the sunset. There was good interior lighting for reading, a well-appointed kitchen, and LOTS of table-top space in both the living room and the bedroom, which was much appreciated. Schuyler's place is very close to Fletcher, where we enjoyed a fabulous breakfast at Kosta's Kitchen (it claims to have the best breakfast in Western North Carolina, and we won't disagree). We also liked the Appalachian Mountain Brewery in nearby Mills River, which crafts a nice selection of brews and also has good food (the better-known Sierra Nevada Brewing Company is also nearby, though we didn't get there on this trip). We spent a day driving and hiking in the Pisgah National Forest, which had stunning autumn colors when we were there. A wonderful stay, and we'll be back the next chance we get!

Brian’s place is brilliant and located in a very quiet location in the hills away from the buzz. it is very well designed and has a modern chic feel. Great attention to detail - very well appointed kitchen, comfortable and spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. The patio is the cherry on the top with a fire pit and various sitting options. Brian is very prompt in his responses and very helpful with knowledge of local joints - we tried each one of his breweries and eateries suggestions. The place is a short drive to the entrance of the Pisgah national forest as well as to downtown Brevard. Overall we had a great stay and enjoyed every moment!

We recently stayed at Charles's Airbnb in Hendersonville, North Carolina, for our son’s wedding, and it was perfect for the occasion. The location is beautiful, with stunning views that made us feel at peace. It was a quiet, serene spot ideal for unwinding between the rehearsal dinner and the ceremony. Charles, our host, was kind and hospitable. His warm welcome and attention to detail were much appreciated. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and we all slept well. After busy days, it was a relief to return to such a cozy and inviting place. The house was beautifully maintained and tastefully furnished. The peaceful environment was exactly what we needed. Staying at Charles’s Airbnb made our son’s wedding weekend even more special. We felt at home and well-cared-for, which allowed us to focus on celebrating with our family. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and comfortable retreat in Hendersonville.

Charming, Beautiful and Cozy. My stay in Barbara’s storybook studio over the garage was comfortable, convenient (to town) and filled with thoughtful and artistic touches. I had several appointments in Brevard during my stay but the property was so peaceful it was hard to leave! Barbara is a wonderful host and I look forward to returning to this poetic little nest in the mountains.

Wonderful location. Brevard has been my favorite vacation spot for many years and this place was wonderful. Quiet and peaceful, with all the amenities you need for a getaway. Super quick and easy trip to Pisgah or DuPont from the house with Lake Imaging trailhead right down the road. Would definitely stay here again!

Little slice of heaven 30-mins outside Asheville. We wanted a retreat and found it! We absolutely loved spending time outdoors with the hot tub and open fire pit. We explored the neighboring creek and enjoyed stargazing in the cold clear skies. The owners managed to utilize every square inch of the property and maximize it. It felt much bigger on the inside and was a perfect place for our family of 3 (we had a 2 year old who loved exploring). The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals each day. Everything was modern and hip, yet rustic and paid homage to the surrounding nature. Would definitely return next time we are back this way.

Loved our stay at the Pisgah Adventure Cabin. It was perfectly located between Brevard and Hendersonville in a peaceful, quiet setting. The wood paneling and rustic decor was very pleasant. The shower was amazing! Glad we could take advantage of a last minute stay.

Comfortable and private stay! Hot tub was a welcome amenity. Kitchen had everything we needed. Provides a sense of escape in the mountains while also just a pretty short and scenic drive into Brevard. Curt proactively provided information and was responsive.

Had the best time staying here so peaceful, beautiful the beds were comfortable. The house had everything you could need and the view out of every window in the home was stunning. The sauna also was such a huge selling point.

We are a family of 4, plus our weimaraner. We spent 7 nights at the cabin on Thanksgiving week, we cook and bake and we couldn't believe how well equipped the kitchen was. The cabin is lovely, to say the least, dog toys, food and water bowls plus a big dog bed. Brevard town had great restaurants, cafés and places to visit. The area is known for waterfalls and trails, and we enjoyed most of them. Asheville is about half an hour or a bit more, from the cabin, great cinemas and antique stores. We really has an awesome time. Thanks Melissa for your wonderful nest.

My family had a wonderful time! The cabin was everything we wanted plus more. The trails on the property kept my kids entertained while we were there and they loved the scavenger hunt. There were problems with the WiFi but my family didn’t mind it. It gave us even more reason to play games and spend time with each other. David was there twice trying to resolve the problems, and he was extremely nice and welcoming! We can not wait to return again in the future!

We loved staying at Hayden’s place! It felt like we were out in the country, but we were only 5 minutes away from grocery stores, restaurants, etc. The hiking and mountain biking trails in the area are some of the best in the country (all the waterfalls!). The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We are still dreaming about those cool summer evenings sitting on the front porch watching the fireflies. We are already planning our trip back to Pisgah!
