Wonderful house in the centre of St Albans. We stayed with our 2 and 4 year old. Very comfortable and warm. Had everything we needed and it was presented beautifully. We will definitely stay again in a few months time. Thank you!

Surprised my boyfriend here for his birthday and it was great! Good quiet location, was immaculate inside and out and you can tell they take great care. Will definitely be coming back at some point! Recommended

We chose this for convenience - it is close to almost every Tube line. Everywhere we went was no more than 20 minutes away. I'd stay here again just for that. But it's also a clean, fairly spacious for a London flat, AND it's above a lovely pub with good food and mulled wine. This is a lovely feature if you don't feel like going out or want to leave your picky eaters upstairs while you have a decent dinner!

My mum had a 4 week stay at the Happy Cottage and it was a wonderful experience. The place is cozy, full of warm details and well equipped. Perfect location to walk to the centre, peaceful quiet and safe. Most definitely recommend for short or long stays and would definitely book again. Hillary was a wonderful host. Very attentive, responsive and kind.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at an Airbnb that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the space. It was spotless, with every corner meticulously tidied, which instantly made me feel comfortable and at home. The convenience of the location was another major highlight. Situated near popular attractions, restaurants, and public transport, I found it incredibly easy to explore the area without any hassle. Everything I needed was just a short walk or quick ride away, making my stay all the more enjoyable. What truly set this experience apart, however, was the responsiveness of the host. They were incredibly attentive, quick to answer any questions I had, and provided helpful recommendations for local hotspots. This level of communication made the whole experience seamless and stress-free. Overall, I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and welcoming place to stay. My husband and I chose Debbie’s townhouse for the location of my 40th birthday dinner, where we hired a private chef and mixologist to come in and entertain. On arrival at the house, we found everything to be very clean, and Debbie’s husband Stef was in contact to make sure all was okay. We discovered some of the crockery we needed wasn’t in the cupboard, but Stef was great and quickly arranged for new dinner sets to be delivered to the house for us to use, which we really appreciated. Otherwise everything else was as described and good. The house is lovely and spacious, so the perfect place for our event. Both the chef and mixologist were able to set up with no issue. Debbie also arranged parking for them both around the corner to the property, and also sorted parking for my husband’s car outside the house. Beds were comfy with clean linen, and fresh towels left on each of the beds. Everyone slept well. Thanks for a great stay, Debbie and Stef.
