Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Heceta Beach

We loved this place, the views were amazing, the house was beautiful, the beds were comfortable, the host was extremely friendly and responsive. I think well be back soon!!

We stayed at this Airbnb for 5 weeks with two dogs. The house is a tiny bit dated, but super nice, very spacious, and extremely homey! I think this was the most well stocked Airbnb we've ever rented. There were plenty of towels, bedding, and blankets. The kitchen had tons of cookware and gadgets. We cook a lot and had no issues for the entirety of our stay. Theresa is a responsive, helpful, and kind host. As for the location of the place, it's perfectly located in a little neighborhood walking distance from Yachats's main strip. There is a small path around the neighborhood that leads to the beach. It's location makes accessing stops up and down the coast super convenient. There is a grocery store 2 minutes away, along with a handful of cafes and restaurants. We worked remotely the whole time and had no issues with the wifi. Overall, we had a truly wonderful stay and would stay again. The pups loved it!

Lovely stay for visiting the coast. The beds were very comfortable, living room was spacious and cozy. The kitchen seemed well stocked had we decided to stay in for meals. Nice bonus room with activities to keep busy when the coastal rains pass through. Easy drive to restaurants, stores, the beach and hikes. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

This house is old and quirky but so well kept and very clean. Kitchen was well stocked. Private beach access was great. And the view!! The view is absolutely incredible, from the living room and the bedroom. That was the best part of our whole trip! We loved staying here and would definitely come again. Oh and an added bonus - the restaurant right next door has great food, beer, and coffee!

Jason was a pleasure to work with in making the place easier for my partner to stay there even though the house was like new already. I recommend this property very highly and it is a tie whether it is because of Jason or the house.

Linda was so helpful and friendly and the house was perfect for our family and especially my son who uses a wheelchair. The house was comfy and clean and quiet and we loved it. Thank you so much for the wonderful accommodations and friendly communication! Will be back!!

Kathy and Mike’s place is beautiful, loved the balcony for coffee in the mornings and to watch the sunset in the evenings. Very well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Will be coming back for sure.

Vandana was very proactive in communicating with me and was very responsive. The space was clean and as advertised. We would definitely stay there again.

Close to beach. Large house with plenty of room for a family to spread out. Dog friendly yard. (as in fenced and accessible by side door). Plenty of cookware, and a sink with a disposal which is handy.

The house was welcoming from the very first moment we got there. Everything was placed in a perfect way and labeled. Never had to look very hard for anything. The house was super well stocked and had all the amenities to make us feel right at home. It was a wonderful location, amazing to just literally step right off the deck and be on the beach. When down on the beach it was very quiet and never busy. Felt like we had our own beach most of the time. Debbie was a wonderful host and always there if we had a question. I would highly recommend and would love to stay again in the future.

This home was very well stocked and fit 2 families very comfortably. The beach is just a step away and the back deck has great sunset views. Fantastic location!

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving at the Heron House! The location was great - walking distance to town and to a small beach at the mouth of the river. The beds were comfortable and the kids had a fun time trying out the various sleeping nooks. The kitchen had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving meal. We even got in a round of tennis at the nearby courts. Wish we had visited in the summer to swim in the river. Would definitely stay again!

The house was spacious, clean, and comfortable for our family. Loved sitting on the deck and watching the swallows in the morning. Beautiful area, and Yachats is a cute town. Ate great fish at the market and enjoyed the gorgeous hike at Cape Perpetua.

This place is incredible. You won't find a better spot. The backyard is sand dunes that lead to the Pacific Ocean, and, to what feels like, a private beach. This is especially perfect for one or multiple families. Six bunkbeds and lots of toys and a play area for small children. Our kids had an absolute blast! You'll love this spot, and Claudia is super responsive to any needs that may arise :)

The house was perfect for our getaway. The kids enjoyed the backyard sandy area on the dune and the private dune trail was super cool, espeically for sunsets. We did think it had better beach access-didn't know the dune has a steep dropoff—but there is nearby public beach access which is easier to use. The separate entry for the downstairs was a bit tricky if you have small kids that want to bunk down there but we managed. Everyone had a great time. House was well cared for and the kitchen was stocked with many essentials and we really appreciated that they left condiments and other things in the fridge door. You don't often see that! 10/10 would book again.

Had a delightful couple of days at the coast with my husband and dogs. House was comfortable and we loved the decor. Kitchen has salt and pepper so bring any other spices you may want, otherwise very well appointed kitchen. Will stay again!

Wonderful place to stay right in Winchester Bay, a couple blocks from the harbor restaurants and shops. The “mother-in-law” suite was perfect for our family vacation that we brought my in-laws along. They had their own space but were able to easily come down stairs to gather and spend time with the kids. We would definitely stay again!

Great little place with easy access across the street to the beach

Had a great week stay! Very clean and had all the things I needed during my stay! I loved how close it was to the beach, and hilltop cafe was a great lunch spot just a quick walk. Definitely plan to stay again!

This is a cozy comfortable and quiet little seaside apt. The sunflower decor is sweet and sunny with sunflowers tastefully placed around the apt. The bed and linens were very comfortable with extra special touches in bathroom with a claw foot tub ( wonderful for a relaxing soak ) and a rain shower shower head . The efficient and compact kitchen has all that you need for small meals with real dishes, glassware and silverware. There is no TV altho there is WiFi……it’s a short walk to the beautiful Heceta Beach!! You can’t beat this! I hope to return one day! Thank you Norma & Gregg❤️🌻🌞🌊

This is a beautiful condo with a gorgeous view of the river and bridge and very walkable to shops and restaurants. Everything was very clean. I did not do a lot of cooking, but the kitchen seem well outfitted. There were lots of games and puzzles. It rained most of the time so I did not get to enjoy the patio. There is some noise from the bridge traffic but I did not find it to be disruptive. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

The cabin was warm and dry. It has a very relaxing vibe. I appreciate the selection of books and board games. The binoculars were nice to use because of all the bird life around. There were plenty of indoor activities for poor weather. I wish there was more of a trail to explore the forest around. Other than that this was the perfect getaway to unwind and relax.

Loved the stay - the house was everything we expected and more. We enjoyed the location, the beaches and proximity to Florence, Waldport, Newport / Depoe bay. Yachats is very relaxed place.

Beautiful little cabin close the ocean! We were lucky to be there while the closest cabin next door was unoccupied which made it even more peaceful. The backyard is a nice size to throw the ball for our dog; there is no secure fenced area and that is the only thing that would have made it better. You can hear the ocean which was amazing and the walk down to it is sooo close! We did not go down to the beach near the cabin due to the large rocks at the bottom of the steps (which is mentioned in the listing). We did not want to risk our dog hurting himself trying to get down and then back up since it was raining and slippery. We did have an issue when we first arrived - we had no hot water. We contacted management and they came and got it up and running in no time. We had a great time and would definitely recommend staying here.
