You will be close to everything when you stay at this caravan. There’s a swimming pool, 10 minutes walk to the beach and arcades. Bakery, fish and chips, pubs. On site arcade, evening entertainment with bar and restaurant and more. You will need passes from reception for the pool (this is by booking your time slot) and for buying food/drinks and bingo cards etc from the bar. This is an extra cost Please note the caravan is on the quiet side of the park about a 5 minute walk to the clubhouse

You have access to 3 floors – two lovely bedrooms, comfy king beds, cotton linen, towels, big window and high ceilings; 1 bathroom, with bath & strong shower & natural toiletries; living /dining room, with big TV and fireplace; bright kitchen and patio & garden. We had such a wonderful stay! The shepherd’s hut was cosy, clean and had beautiful surroundings. It was quiet and really peaceful. The interiors were gorgeous and the outside bath was a relaxing and novel treat. Charlotte was lovely - very helpful and friendly. Thank you so much! The instructions were clear, especially as we booked at such short notice. We are excited to book another stay again in the future and will definitely be recommending to friends and family!

We've had a nice August Bank Holiday weekend at Lee's place. The caravan was clean, tidy and well looked after. A travel cot and a high chair were both available, which really helped us. There was a chilled bottle in the fridge (for adults) and games and books available (for kids). It was very thoughtful of Lee. It was a shame that the Saturday was an absolute washout and we couldn't explore the area. But this is the British summer for you! You would need to buy a day pass for any entertainment (5min walk from the caravan). However, only the swimming and the entrance to the pub and the arcade is included in the day pass. Any other activities you wish to try need to be paid for separately. Also it's worth checking swimming availability first, before purchasing the day pass, as swim times are limited. The bakery just round the corner on the main street was a great discovery. Nice walks with the kids by the sea were good too. Lee's place was great and he is a very good host.

Excellent property. Owners were really nice. Can’t wait to go again when the pool is open. Went to a local pub called Coach & horses, excellent food there. We took our dog and owners kindly asked if we kept her on the lead when in garden of property as they have sheep but there’s a massive field with a woodland walk out back so was fine to let off the lead then. Barn is exactly as described. There’s some good little board games there and our kids got a bit obsessed with cluedo. Was expecting to be chilly as it’s a barn but the underfloor heating makes it really warm and cosy. Will definitely come back.

We stayed for 4 nights in April 2025, 2 adults and 2 children (9 and 13). Fabulous stay, the cottage is lovely and tucked away from the road. The hot tub was a big hit and made the stay that little bit more amazing! Excellent host and a lovely cottage, we will be back.

Highly recommended gem of a place. This is why I started using AirBnB! Geoff was super helpful with loads of info on the place and surroundings. Rye is small so you can walk just about everywhere. Supermarkets and restaurants very nearby and amazing shops. Easy check in and Geoff was flexible with times. And they left is Prosecco, crips and bottled water, something you don’t get at many AiBnB’s. We had an amazing time and felt at home. This will be my first option if we’re in Rye again.
