Vacation rentals in Headwater Diversion Channel

Fantastic little getaway, it was everything advertised. So peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. 10/10, will be back.

Ma's Cabin was very well appointed, clean, and reasonably remote. The cabin is not large, but spacious enough for 1-2 people. The kitchen had all necessary items to prepare meals. The front covered porch overlooking the owners' home was nice, particularly during periodic rains, while the back porch overlooks what seems to have been a fenced field at some point. The field was very natural and I expected to see a deer walk up to me at any moment (although none did). The shower was good (easy to operate, large enough to use, and plenty of hot water). WiFi was excellent (I brought my own device to stream, so I can't speak to existing tech). The cabin is about 40 minutes from Cape Girardeau. 5/5 Stars

Dave's place was really great and we had plenty of room for our family, lots of amenities, and he left detailed instructions.

The house was beautiful, clean, and had anything and everything you might need to make your stay comfortable. We had a small issue upon check-in(by no fault of the hosts) and they came within MINUTES at 11 o’clock AT NIGHT to quickly resolve the issue. The hosts were very kind and responsive. This house was the perfect stop for our little family on our road trip home. However, it was definitely MADE for a girls weekend. If you want to read, visit wineries, and relax in peace out in the country, this is absolutely the place for you. Just watch for deer if you drive at night. We saw about 12 on our adventures. :)

This was our second time staying here and we had a great stay once again. The house was very clean and everything worked as it should. We were in the area to duck hunt and we had more than enough room for 2 trucks and a trailer. We enjoyed the fire pit and the outside party lights each night. We will be back next year.

Perfect spot for a weekend get away. It's extremely quiet and peaceful which we really enjoyed. Plenty close to town to run in and grab dinner. Lots of hiking nearby which we also enjoyed. We will definitely be back.

Jonathan was very responsive and polite. Definitely recommend his home to anyone looking for a peaceful time with family or time away! Will stay again in the future.

Phyllis was wonderful, kind, and inviting. check in and out was quick and painless. furniture is comfortable and she allows pets for a still reasonable price! plenty of space for the dogs to run and the place is perfectly placed far enough away from the hustle and bustle in town but close enough to run to the store if you need somrthing!
