The property features a wet weather creek and reservoir that attracts turkeys, ducks, wild boar, and deer. Take a hike, a dip, then head to the brewery for some R&R... your perfect day awaits. All four bedrooms have 50" HDTV's and there is a 70" monster screen in the living room so if you want to stay inside and watch the game (DirectTV/NFL Sunday Ticket!) or get caught up on work (satellite internet), you're covered. In addition to having all the major pay-for movie channels like HBO and Showtime, we also have a great DVD library for the film buffs out there. Hanging out by the fire pit is a great way to cap off a day and don't forget to break out the s'mores. The house is outfitted with high end appliances across the board and even seasoned chefs will find themselves well equipped in our kitchen or at the helm of our state of the art grill. The home is filled with lots of interesting original artwork and the grounds surrounding are serene and picturesque. Located less than 30 minutes to downtown Austin, you get the best of both worlds. This property was wonderful. The grounds are beautiful. The inside of the house smelled and looked so clean when we arrived. The kitchen was appointed with just about everything you could imagine and certainly everything you need. The hot tub and pool were a hit with the kids. We all had a great time and will certainly consider coming back.

Our group of friends had an amazing time here! The homes were spotlessly clean, and had all of the amenities that you could ask for. The cowboy pool was great for soaking and hanging out in. The property itself is well kept and very nicely landscaped. Being just minutes to canyon lake or the Guadalupe river was super convenient as well. The owner is incredibly sweet and was very quick with responses, and provided tons of useful suggestions for entertainment and dining. We would highly recommend this property for any group or family looking to have a relaxing vacation in the Texas hill country. We can’t wait to come back and visit again.

We loved our stay at Birdie's Poolhouse! One of the best airbnb experiences we've ever had. The house was clean, quiet, and beautifully decorated. Our toddlers enjoyed the pool the most! Blair was always responsive for turning on the hot tub and anything else we needed. Would recommend and would love to come back!

We spent Easter weekend with my kids and grandkids. Beautiful views, relaxing heated pool. Cozy yet spacious for everyone. Modern cabin feel with lots of natural light. It was like a tree house. We had a great relaxing time and beautiful atmosphere for our family’s memory making weekend. The pillows, beds and lines were so comfortable. The TV room was like a mini theater room where everyone was comfortable.

Our group truly enjoyed our visit to Austin, TX and our stay at Tom's house. The house was clean and fully equipped with everything we might need. It is spacious and comfortable, and the outside pool area is really a great space to hang out and relax... and the heated pool was really nice. The location is great, it is a short, enjoyable walk to Sout Congress street and a quick ride to pretty much any other area of the city. There are a few places that are super close, including really nice coffee shop/market that was extremely convenient, and many restaurants, shops, music, nearby. Tom was a great host; communicative, considerate, flexible, helpful with suggestions of things to do/see, etc. and just a nice person. We absolutely recommend staying at Tom's house for your trip to Austin.
