Vacation rentals in Hays County

This was my first time using an Airbnb and I always see negative things about using it. However this house was amazing. I truly can’t put into words on how beautiful and relaxing this house was. I literally told my family we are coming back because I loved it. From the house to the host everything was truly amazing. If your thinking about getting this house for a vacation or just for some peace, I’d say do it because I have no regrets!

We had a great stay. The back deck is definitely a highlight. The Shafer’s were very accommodating and quickly replied to messages. The house is stocked with pretty much everything you need. Great airbnb.

Such a gorgeous and lovely renovated home! Was exactly as described! It was very clean, beautiful, and comfy! So much detail was put into the renovation and decor. It was like home away from home. We also loved the outside games very much! We highly recommend this place!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The room was incredibly comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully designed. It felt like a home away from home. The bed was cozy, and the space had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The host went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and provided excellent communication throughout. What a wonder place!! Everything we needed was there already in the fully stocked kitchen. The rooms were clean and everything was in neat and tidy order. It was a great stay!! Unfortunately the pool heater broke the second day we were there and Pascal did everything in his power to get it sorted but wasn’t able to get it fixed. I was kindly refunded some money to make up for this. Excellent host!! We had a wonderful time staying here. 10/10 would recommend. Lovely and private too!

I really enjoyed my time at this cabin in Texas Hill country! Very cozy cabin with everything needed for a weeklong stay. Was able to enjoy peace and quiet, along with nice sunrises and night skies on my porch. My cabin neighbors were all very respectful. I enjoyed both the hot tub and the pool while I was there. I was close to grocery stores and not far from trails, everything I wanted for the trip. The two AC units had no problem keeping the cabin cool (it was a warm October). Kitchen was adequate for needs. There was a slight sulfur smell with the water like mentioned by others, but it really wasn’t an issue and it did pass. The immediate view of the area was not as scenic as you might hope for, but I liked the way they made the area attractive. I was very happy with my time here, and would be glad to come again. 😊

We loved it here! It was very family friendly especially for our 3 year old ! Beautiful RV. I would stay again !

This cabin is a rare gem. It’s architecturally gorgeous and has a view that is probably the best on that stretch of the river. Debbie is super friendly and accommodating. The house is well stocked, very clean, and easy. Will certainly be back!
