Wonderful stay! Private, peaceful, gorgeous views. The Mango hut was added bonus to sit with morning coffee. Close to local beaches and close enough to Kona. We experienced local Hawaii, outdoor bathroom, the song of the frogs, the slower pace. All that we imagined.

Adorable Garden Gingerbread House

Rocky & KristieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What an oasis! Lush, private, & peaceful. A favorite was picking fresh guava for breakfast! Eve was attentive but not over bearing, kind and hospitable. We really felt like we could explore and enjoy the entire grounds. And the sanctuary next door was simply beautiful and a quick walk away. You can even buy an “over the top” fresh exotic flower bouquet for $18!! We grilled out on the back patio and soaked it all in . We’d definitely recommend this get-away!

Kealakekua Bay Bali Cottage -steps from Bay

MelissaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This place is awesome! Karen and Ron are so kind and have built/designed this place with such passion! It’s darling! Note that it does have open spaces to the elements as noted. You may be in the company of a gecko or spider- but being in Hawaii, you encounter the same all over. We did not have issues with mosquitoes at all. The serenity you feel at this place is beyond anything! Steps from Manini and kayak rentals is convenient- and totally shouldn’t be missed. Ron and Karen are super friendly and attentive and gave us a bunch of things to do. Morning coffee on the porch or a sunrise walk to the beach- nothing better! This place is a gem!

Charming Kona Studio ❤ Views | Lanai

PaulaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our hosts were on property, so they were available for questions about the area. Mark took the time to tell us about why they love the area so much including the sunset views. He showed us the best, safest place to go snorkeling and it’s very near the house. He also recommended a great bakery., Punalu’u Bakery. Yum! We highly recommend this place and hope to come back sometime.

The Flower Bed

EmilyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
The Flower Bed was one of the most unique places I have ever stayed. I needed a place to lay my head and rest for one night and came across Laura’s listing. The photos looked gorgeous, the location worked well, it had amenities I wanted, and the price was reasonable, so I decided to book. I am so glad that I did. Laura’s check-in instructions were so clear and the directional photos in the app were super helpful, too. Even when arriving in the dark of night, I was able to easily find the location due to the detailed directions provided. When I pulled in, I was greeted by the beautiful view of the Flower Bed all lit up by the cute string lights that line the edges of the dwelling. Once inside, I was struck by how homey it felt right from the get go. Laura has it decorated so well. It’s such a cozy little space. The outdoor shower was actually very enjoyable with the warm water. And the outdoor toilet was super clean and comfortable to use. Thank you so much Laura & fam! :-)

Romantic Kona Hideaway | Modern + Private Hot Tub

SeanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at Sundara’s Airbnb! The location was absolutely beautiful—peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature, yet just a short drive to downtown Kona. It felt like the perfect little retreat for a couple looking to relax and recharge. The space was clean and cozy, and we really appreciated having a kitchen to cook some of our own meals—such a great way to save on dining out in Hawaii. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, romantic getaway with easy access to town!

This is wonderful place to spend a few days amidst nature. It is very peaceful but also convenient as you have a general store within 1.5 miles. The facilities and equipments in the house are great and the instructions make it super clear. My kid enjoyed playing the few board games and the frontyard is a lovely place to soend your evenings chilling. The location is also convenient for the volcanoes national park ( 40 mins drive)

Jungle Haven at ReKindle Farm

StephanieRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We enjoyed a short but sweet stay in the jungle - beautiful surroundings and friendly host and pet cats and dog, too! Nicole was very friendly and gave us a nice tour of the property upon our arrival. It was peaceful and nice to check out Mermaid Ponds as well! Well appointed retreat and fun outdoor shower and kitchen - very private too. Loft was good for our teen kids, but wouldn't recommend for adults.

Tropical Zen Bungalow - Private Garden Oasis

MiryahRating, 5 stars3 days ago
This bungalow was absolutely quaint and adorable—so peaceful, private, and surrounded by the lush beauty of Hawaiian nature and palm trees. Abbie was a wonderful host, super responsive to any questions we had and made the stay easy and enjoyable. There was so much to explore in the area, and having Kehena Beach just minutes away was such a treat. Everyone in town was warm and welcoming, which made the experience even more special. I’ll definitely be coming back! Mahalo!

The Ohana

AngieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I would absolutely stay at The Ohana again. It’s a charming and super comfortable space. I loved sitting on the porch in the evening in the lovely garden, listening to the coqui frogs. Bonus, the location is killer. A short drive to a cute tiny town with coffee shops and restaurants, and a short ride to several gorgeous beach options.

Hula Hale - Walk to Cafe/Cannery

ArvindRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Had a great time at Claire and Bill’s place. They had beach towels and chairs as well that we could use. It is 10 mins away from mile marker zero for Road to Hana and 40 mins away from Haleakala National Park. They even had recommendations for restaurants and cafes. Paia market is less than 20 mins away!
