Charming, cheerful, house close to Haverford College in a pretty neighborhood. I could easily walk to shops, grocery store and pharmacy. Lee is a very gracious and responsive host. I really enjoyed my stay.

The Carriage House is a treasured find in the beautiful, historic north side of Haverford. A true “carriage house,” it is filled with charm, very well-appointed throughout, with everything one could need. It’s a 7 minute walk to the Haverford train station and Haverford shopping area. It’s quiet with lots of natural light streaming in through the windows and a view of surrounding trees and lawns. We stayed for 5 months and couldn’t have been happier! We had our dog with us who was made very welcome by the owners and their sweet dog! The neighborhood is a beautiful area to walk your dog. The owners were wonderful, gracious hosts, responding immediately to our questions and requests. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We were lucky to have come across the Carriage House and for it to be available for the length of time we needed. We’ll definitely return if we have a need to be in the Philadelphia suburbs again and it’s available!
