Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Havana

This airbnb in Old Havana is a must stay! It is a 5 min walk from the Capitol and tons of restaurants & shops by the Capitol. If you want an authentic Cuban experience stay here, if you want modern & chic stay in Miami. David was super helpful and communicated very efficiently. Anytime I had a question he was quick to respond. Our airbnb was 2 blocks from the main house where all the delicious meals are served. It felt like we were going out to eat dinner, especially because they have fresh LOBSTER on the lunch and dinner menu EVERYDAY! It is only $10, no typo $10 for traditional Cuban food and tasty lobster. The lobster tails are big too! David’s staff is very friendly too and helpful. They make you feel like you are family. The rooms are spacious and each room has it’s own bathroom with shower in it. I will be going back to visit Cuba and will definitely be staying here again. The price is very reasonable and worth it!

The house is amazingly beautiful!! Alexa was great preparing breakfast and sharing good information about surrounding. The pool and the garden is excellent, I can’t wait to stay here again! This house needs nothing but new people to explore it. We will definitely be back in November to book it again. Thank you from Florida!!

During our seventeen days in Cuba we stayed in Casa Nini for two periods. Really enjoyed!! A great Airbnb experience is for us, including getting good and relevant information in advance and during your stay. What we got here: Both from Nini in advance of your stay and by Franci during your stay. Franci conjured out lovely breakfasts and dinners. She assisted us with anything we needed help with, if it was to organize a ride, tip about restaurants and book tables to plan excursions and provide input on activities. In Franci, you get a hostess who expertly balances accessibility and privacy. But the most important thing was probably the good vibe she contributed to. A stay at Casa Nini will enrich your stay in Cuba. The roof terrace was used a lot. Both for meals and relaxation. Here you could retreat while you could sit on the edge and observe life down the street. We also have to mention that we got very good and safe drivers organized by Casa Nini.

We had a wonderful stay at casa densil. However, it’s important to note the following: - if you are looking for a 5-star luxury stay in a high end neighborhood, this may not be for you. - if you are looking to live amongst the people, experience the culture, and truly see the city, this is the place for you We always felt safe walking (we didn’t typically stay out past 10pm), but the neighborhood(s) surrounding casa densil are pretty run down. But the location was great for us as we were able to walk almost anywhere within 10-15 min. The amenities were limited, but we had hot running water, electricity, food & beverage, beds and functioning air conditioning However, what made casa densil an unforgettable stay was less about the location and amenities, it was the people. I will fail to name them all, but we literally had 9 people committed around the clock to making our stay memorable. They were swift to help us out with literally anything. We will never forget them!

It was a great experience at this place. Beautiful home that meet our expectations. Will come back and highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Janet's house with the whole family and friends. Everyone, but especially the children enjoyed the pool, and casí every day we went to the sea, until it's 2 min walk. Thank you very much to Lianet and her husband for their hospitality, they were always ready to help us.

Great hosts and great property - massive thank you to César for all of the pre-planning and assistance while in Havana. Pictures and descriptions are perfect, location is great in relation to everything to see and do while in town. Uniquely designed for a staycation or for a lovely place to come home to after a day of exploring. Would gladly return and stay longer for more adventures!

The stay was wonderful! We stayed at 3 airbnb in Havana and this was without a doubt the best listing. It is extremely close and easy to get on foot to the Capitol, Malecón, Paseo, Floridita, the Museum of the Revolution etc and Havana Vieja itself... basically, from every tourist center. It is within a centrinho that has day and night movement, and brings us very close to the reality of the Cubans. The pictures match exactly what we found on site: modern apartment, comfortable, and the main one, with a WONDERFUL wifi internet (believe me, this is very important and difficult in Havana). The host always responded very quickly, and Ofélia, who welcomed us, extremely attentive and friendly. They were very flexible regarding the anticipation of checkin. Voltaria for sure!

Very happy to have stayed with Yurguen from the beginning to the end she cared about every need or demand we had , she went to pick us up at the airport, she is very helpful , responsible, honest, friendly , she made us feel at home with every detail she had , super recommended . He always helped us with every situation, for example, we were presented with a personal problem, something external with the airbnb and he supported us quite a bit in resolving it, he became our friend. The apartment is very nice, quite contemporary , water and gas was never a problem , with an air conditioning that works quite well , it has a comfortable glass table to read or study , a balcony to go out for a rich cup of coffee and a quite comfortable bed, certainly my best decision.

We were so lucky to be welcomed by Yulia for our first days in Havana! She has been incredibly kind and helpful host- from sharing a map with all local recommendations and good vibes restaurants to all practicalities such as providing simcard and helping us to exchange local money. We also loved the breakfast cooked for us every morning with fresh juices and coffee, and of course the incredibly well located apartment right in the heart of the old city!

Apartment near the Capitol and the main attractions of Habana Vieja and Havana Centro, with 4 distinct rooms: living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Kitchens equipped with stove, microwave and everything needed: dishes, glasses, xicaras, cutlery. A large refrigerator in the living room. TV with local channels. Hot water on the taps and in the shower. Two air conditioners, one in the living room and one in the bedroom, with excellent refrigeration. Mr. Saul who received me gave precious tips on where to exchange, ETECSA next to the building to buy chip, security, etc. Electrical energy stability on all the 10 days I spent there. Excellent cost x benefit. Washing machine in the Bathroom. I Recommend!!!!! Note: Don't forget to talk to Mrs. Graciela, apto 11.

This is one of the best Airbnb's I have ever stayed in. Communication was prompt, the apartment was really well designed and decorated with all the amenities I could have asked for, and the location was primo right in a quiet part of old Havana. The host really went above and beyond with his recommendations as well with a fully stocked fridge of snacks and drinks and local rum. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Havana.

Greta the host and Karen the manager are incredible hosts! Karen is super helpful and very responsive. Location is in the middle of center havana, with a few highly recommended restaurants. Surrounding is the real havana… but super safe.

Jorge simpre respectful and all his recommendations as a local were very useful and above all reliable since he always speaks to the truth and was always looking for the best option in local food, tours, taxis, mobility in general I look forward to helping you at all times. we will definitely return to Jorge's house which was like our house throughout our stay in Havana.

very nice Robert's apartment. the location near the center is good for anyone who wants to know the main sights on foot. The balcony view to the Capitol is another highlight.

The stay was amazing. Karel went above and beyond with picking up and drop off at airport and always being available when we had questions. He recommended things for us to do. Maxima is so lovely and sweet. The most delicious meals. The location is perfect, all you need is within walking distance. Karel made us feel like family and took us to local events. This was one of my best experiences. I highly recommend booking with Karel!

The apartment was really beautiful and the balcony had an amazing view of the capitol dome. Alba was also extremely responsive any time we had a question or sought advice. The wifi was stable and faster than expected. Air conditioning in the rooms also worked very well. The apartment was fairly clean, although the floors could benefit from a mopping as they were fairly dirty. Things to keep in mind: the neighborhood is quite loud. On Christmas eve, the apartment across the street was blasting music all night long until 9am, when we left. Alba tried to help by calling the police, but they did not respond. Even without the party, sounds from the street and cars travel right into the apartment. So if you are not a heavy sleeper, bring ear plugs. The staircase is also very narrow and steep, so if you have heavy luggage, it is not ideal. Overall, for a couple of nights, it was a great way to settle into Old Havana. The location was convenient and the apartment was charming.

The place is great for enjoying Old Havana. In addition, our host, Patricia, was super friendly, gave us very good breakfasts and good advice to enjoy the city. I would not hesitate to stay again at this place when I return to Cuba.

Idania and Lorenzo are irreplaceable. This was my first visit to Cuba and from the start, their support was outstanding. I am so thankful I had them as an introduction to Cuba. They made such a difference. The apartment is as described. The apartment is a little older than in the pictures but still very clean and comfortable. The location is ideal for a stay in La Habana Vieja. You are close to everything. There is no wifi in the apartment, however Idania and Lorenzo will help you with a SIM card.
