Beautiful, quirky & cosy cottage In a picturesque village. my family, dogs & I loved it here and felt happy to be away from all the hustle n bustle of busy town life. There are lots of lovely walks and public footpaths to follow and investigate which the children and dogs loved. a very short drive away you have Sharnbrook which has some great pubs, cades and a co op where you can stock up on al the essentials. The cottage was well equipped and the log burner was a joy in the cold winter evenings. Caroline and Simon were great hosts and have been extremely helpful. we have just re booked to stay a little longer as we feel so at home here. neighbours are lovely too. I highly recommend this lovely air bnb if you are after somewhere to relax in a beautiful village location.

What a lovely cottage in a beautiful town! The interior design is gorgeous. It oozes charm and character and is a treat to return to after a day out and about. Matt and Kay provided a very detailed manual with everything you'd need to know - inside and out. So much so, we hardly needed to reach out to them for anything at all. I can't wait to stay again and I've been recommending the cottage to other family members who want to stay in Buntingford to visit relations. Great job Matt and Kay. Thanks for the lovely experience! Such a beautiful house which looked even better in person. Katy greeted us upon arrival which was a lovely touch & was very responsive throughout our stay. The house is furnished beautifully & is in a great location with Newmarket high street less than 10mins away. We also went into Cambridge which was only a 25min drive. We would love to return, thank you!

Great little hideaway for some peace

Cosy cottage, very homely and well equipped - Andy has thought of everything! We enjoyed a family go on the Wii doing Just Dance. Great fun! Liked the helpful little notes around the place, especially those for the bathroom heated towel rail. We enjoyed a lovely walk around Great Gransden & Little Gransden. Lots of thatched cottages and beautiful houses. A lovely peaceful location. Great for visiting our daughter at Uni in Cambridge.

This place is just stunning. Beautifully decorated and kitted out. Everything comfortable and homely. The hot tub was spotless and soooo lovely. Parking right outside your lodge. The setting is idyllic with the fishing lake just in front and it’s so very peaceful. You can feed the ducks as they come up to the lodges. There’s donkeys, geese, ducks, alpacas and peacock/hen. There even a games room on site with a snooker and pool table and dart board with lots of board games etc you can play. A lovely welcome package on arrival that included a bottle of Prosecco, bread, milk and biscuits. Really helpful guy on site that couldn’t do enough for us (think his name was David). Good comms with the owner Sharon. Would highly recommend.

The lodges were incredible, built and decorated with amazing features, the upstairs bedrooms with view of the lake and surrounding village was awesome, they contained everything you need and more for a comfortable stay, including board / outdoor games, stunning walks for the dogs, the binoculars on the balcony were a great touch, awesome big sky's for star watching in the evening, the historic town of Long Melford is a short walk with amazing bars and restaurants and some fantastic antique centres and shops, the local takeaway even delivers to the site. there is so much history near by and Mark was a font of local knowledge. Mark and Stacy, were the perfect hosts, great communication on booking. We visited at the end of February and the lodges were lovely and toasty curtesy of the gas heating, Mark told us they have been constructed so they are warm in winter and cool in Summer, we will definitely be back in summer and will be taking friends to this amazing little gem we have found!

Exceptional I booked this cottage looking for a peaceful and warm experience, I was pleasantly surprised by Sally’s kindness. As for the cottage, I was seduced by the photos but the reality is much more beautiful. I spent a pleasant stay in this cottage, in addition close to a golf course, a trail to walk. I recommend this experience 100%. Thank you again
