We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was homely with everything you need. The Lord Nelson pub was just perfect with some very friendly locals and a great pint! Ingrid and Ric were thoughtful hosts who provided us with useful local information and a pint of milk to make a cup of tea at the end of a long journey! A lovely village and an amazing cottage.

We had an amazing stay, Claire's had everything we could possibly need & more! Location was great, a 1 minute walk to the local pub which was really friendly & great for quiz night on a Wednesday! A 20 minute walk into Holmfirth for a choice of lovely coffee shops & places to eat! Plenty of walks & bike rides straight out of the house! Thank you for having us & thank you so much for all the tasty treats!

This is our favourite place to stay when we visit Halifax, especially when we want to bring our two dogs. It's only a few minutes' drive from the Piece Hall, Shibden Hall, the Bankfield Museum and other places we like to visit, but it is quiet and feels like countryside. Fields are on two sides, with deer and foxes that sometimes pose for us in early morning or at dusk. It's always clean. Everything we need is right there. We especially love have enough of a freezer to bring a week's worth of our dogs' favourite food. In the Halifax area we really don't want to stay anywhere else.

Lovely, cosy home, exactly as described and pictured. Kind and helpful host. Great location, across from an excellent supermarket, and just a stroll from the center of town, with the city walls and York Minster and The Shambles.

Had an amazing stay at York, which made my family and I felt just right at home. Conveniently located at a peaceful estate with a 10min walk to the city centre. Rachel was very responsive and tried her best to accommodate to our needs. The kitchen and bathroom were very clean and well equipped with whatever we need. The linen (hotel grade towels) are clean (I usually don't trust Airbnb towels but this was trustable). The beds were super comfortable, especially the master bedroom one. Even though the house was very old, it still feels very cozy and comfortable. Highly recommended if you are planning to stay in York! 5/5!! ✨

Wow, we loved our stay at Michael’s place and he really is a super host. Couldn’t fault his service in any way. The house itself was perfect for our group, left clean and comfortable by his lovely cleaner (Mum!). Michael was also super responsive and receptive to our needs and really friendly guy. The location itself was perfect to our needs, tucked away but still local and central. Thanks Michael, we will definitely return!

We had a fabulous stay in this lovely lodge. Very cosy and spotlessly clean. Having the gym, pool and spa on the doorstep was such a bonus and we used them every day. The surrounding area is beautiful and we loved visiting Grassington and Malham Cove especially. Thanks so much.

Lovely stay, shepherds hut was well equipped and had all you needed and was nice and cosy inside… outdoor space was also great and we loved the hot tub and bbq facilities which were provided. Gillan was a great host and showed us around, but privacy was not invaded which we liked. Would definitely recommend a stay here

This was a very special place to stay. The description doesn’t do it justice! It is spacious, well equipped and has lots of extras! We had an electric issue but it was sorted very quickly which we were amazed by as it was a bank holiday weekend. The neighbours were super friendly and even changed our flat tyre.

We loved our time here, surrounded by nature - and lovely isolated place for a reset. Hoping to come back at some point, possibly for a winter getaway. Everything was dead easy - parking, self check-in, location, lodge itself, just very easy and homely. Highly recommended.

Honestly can't rate this place highly enough. We planned to stay for 2 nights but had such a great time we ended up staying an extra night. Extremely clean, lovely and quiet (it was off season) and plenty of places walkable or within a short drive. Everyone on the site seemed lovely and Angela was very responsive and gave lots of really good information before and during our visit. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

If there was a six star rating then I would definitely pick that! Julian’s house is superb, we stayed for 4 nights after the new year as a family and have had the best time. The house is just beautiful in a gorgeous location and very spacious. There were 9 of us and 3 dogs all together and we had more than enough room. I would wholeheartedly recommend Foxhall farm along with Julian and Jolene who are great and very helpful. Thank you for fab holiday 🥰

we had a fantastic stay here. the cottage is beautiful, the garden with pod is perfect to enjoy the local scenery. it was the best sleep I've had in months, so quiet! John was always on hand if neded and very friendly & helpful. we felt very welcome. the cottage has everything you need and more!! I especially loved the history of the house and the way if was decorated/accessorised. my daughter absolutely loved it!! she is 10 and was very sad to leave. I'm certain we will return! the pub up the road was amazing...a lovely walk for tea! food was delicious and very good value. I would highly recommend this cottage and can't wait to come back. thank you John for being a wonderful host and letting us share in the history of this magnificent building.

Fantastic and extremely clean stay! Lynne greeted us on arrival and made us feel right at home. A very detailed instruction pack was provided which made it easy to know how to use the various appliances in the kitchen and rooms. The location is so peaceful and feels very secure, and the accommodation itself was so cosy and comfortable. Would definitely recommend for any future stays!

We are first time visitors in Skipton and glad we stayed with Mel and Jason's place. It was near to the place we were meeting with friends so that comes handy with us getting uber to and from the place. We were out much of the day so it's just nice to come home to a cozy place. Mel and Jason were responsive and timely with their reminders. They also offered some bread, eggs and butter which was thoughtful.

We've just returned from a short stay at my happy hounds. Our glamping pod Hugo was absolutely perfect for our stay. It had everything we needed and was absolutely spotless considering these are dog friendly. The welcome pack was also a nice touch with all quality items. We have 2 dogs one that is very nervous, he settled in well as it was peaceful and private and having ample space for them to run and play at the pod and the secure dog fields, these are a great facility for anyone traveling with a dog. It's only a short drive to find local amenities and finding my happy hounds was easy with Google maps being accurate. The communication from Harry was excellent with plenty of information and help if needed. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and have already started talking of booking again for the future. Really good spot. Great for the city and them 10mins walk to the countryside and walks. The place was more like a upmarket hotel suite than your normal airbnb. Karen answered all our query's immediately and was a good guide for restaurants and pubs. The place was immaculate. Really. really immaculate! Highly recommended.

The flat is extremely nice, even nicer than described. Everything was clean and welcoming. There was anything you could possibly want when staying somewhere with a child and a dog! Susan was super nice, responded quickly and had a wealth of information. The location is great for various amenities in Halifax and for dog walks. We will definitely be back!
