Beautifuly furnished house ,perfect for a weekend with friends. We had everything we needed. The hot tub was well maintained & just what we needed to relax. Jo was a friedly & very helpful host ,I would recomend anyone to come & stay at this beautiful peaceful location . Thank you for a lovley weekend at you tranquil home .

We had a great few days here. The house was easy to find and access. It's decorated in a fresh modern way and was well stocked to be able to self-cater. Really warm (we stayed over New Years). Quiet street. Small gripes would be the driveway was steep and awkward but we parked on the kerbside in front of the property with no issues. The main bed wasn't the most comfy but we've also had worse. Overall a great stay and good value for money. Beautiful walks in the area within 20 mins drive and we were glad we went.

Michelle is an exceptional host —thoughtful, accommodating, and highly responsive. She has truly gone above and beyond, equipping the property with everything you could possibly need to feel at home. The accommodation was immaculate, perfectly located in the heart of the area yet offering a serene and peaceful atmosphere for a restful stay amidst beautiful surroundings. I would highly recommend

We spent Christmas week here to be close to family. It comfortably met all our needs. Great location. Dani was an excellent host. Communication was prompt and she was always helpful. We appreciated the breakfast things she kindly left for us too. We’d recommend Dani’s house for a stay 😊

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was really clean, warm & we felt right at home! location was great, nice being able to walk into town along the canal. We'll definitely look to stay again.

Great centrally located accommodation with excellent communication throughout. Lock box key collection was great. Property is on a main road which should be taken into account but great stay.

The apartment is very comfortable, Julie, who takes care of the apartment, is so nice and helpful. The location is very good for our needs, which is close to York Center and to the school Queen Ethelburga. We will book the place again.

Great stay in Frank's place. Great location for sightseeing, restaurants, bars, shops and coffee shops. The apartment was spotlessly clean, warm and welcoming and with all the facilities you'd need. Check in information was clear and easy to follow. Definitely would recommend it for anyone visiting York. Thanks for a fab stay!

Darren and Matt were both extremely accommodating and the apartment couldn't have been better. The location was perfect, plenty of space in the apartment and a nice balcony to sit out on as well! If I was to stay in Leeds again, I would 100% book this apartment again.

Great location, only 25 mins walk into York or 15 on the bus. Lovely little place with comfy beds and great amenities. Would stay again!

10/10 Amazing stay! The apartment was very clean, even smelt like a spa walking in with amazing facilities. The jacuzzi and sauna were amazing touches as well as the all the LED lights around the apartment, it just felt so relaxing, we did not want to leave! The host was so helpful and approachable too, showed us how to use everything and even suggested local places to eat and nothing was too much to ask! Highly recommend and we will be back 100%. Thanks so much for a wonderful weekend :)

I had an absolutely fantastic experience staying at Maureen and Ian’s Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, I could tell that every detail had been thoughtfully considered to make the stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The space was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we could have possibly needed – it truly felt like a home away from home. What truly set this experience apart, however, was Maureens hospitality. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless, offering personalized recommendations for local attractions and restaurants, and checking in to make sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Their attention to detail was evident in the little touches throughout the space – extra cozy blankets, and even snacks waiting for us upon arrival. I can't wait to come back! Highly recommend!

Frank’s place was exactly what we were looking for. It is exactly as described, so if you like what you see you should book it. The location was great, really close to attractions but very quiet at night.

Really nice, safe ( gated community) and well maintained apartment within the medieval walls of the city. Unbelievably well equipped and provisioned. There was nothing missing down to coffee, packet cereals, spices and sauces! Centre of York easily walkable so location is great.

Dagi and Chris were great hosts - responsive, helpful and friendly , and the flat was ideally situated and as described. Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely stay, at Anne & Phil's. Anne was welcoming and warm, the place was exactly as described, the location was peaceful, but also within a minute walk to local pubs and co-op. During the days we went for lovely walks, to Uppermill and also visited the historic Fort. Will definitely return.

We had the most wonderful stay at Sue’s place! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The space was incredibly cozy, immaculately clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Sue went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. Traveling with our 3-month-old son, we were so grateful that she provided a travel cot and baby blankets, which made things so much easier for us. The thoughtful touches like having the heating on and the kettle ready when we arrived were such a relief, especially given the chilly weather. Sue also supplied everything we needed to prepare breakfast, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made our mornings so much easier. She was very accommodating with our check-in and check-out times, making our stay completely stress-free. This was truly one of the warmest and most welcoming stays we’ve had. If we’re ever back in the area, we wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Thank you, Sue, for such a memorable experience!

The Loft is immaculately clean, spacious, and stylishly decorated, blending modern amenities with cozy charm. The location couldn’t be more perfect—nestled in a quiet area, yet just a short walk to all the historic attractions, restaurants, and shops York has to offer. Tracy and Tim went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed—including a wrapped Christmas gift of chocolates under a decorated and lit Christmas tree along with champagne chilling in the fridge. The little touches, like fresh coffee and tea were a welcome treat, and were so appreciated and made our experience even more special. We couldn’t recommend The Loft more!
