Fiona’s place was exactly what we needed. It had all the things we could need and more. Really comfy bed and such a beautiful view. We sat just watching the view and the birds. Just as the pictures show!

We had an amazing stay at Gloria’s place in Skye. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed—the host was absolutely lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. The accommodation itself was spotless, one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed in, which made it feel even more comfortable and inviting. The location was simply breathtaking, offering beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere that made our trip even more special. If you’re looking for a perfect getaway in Skye, this is the place to stay. Highly recommended, and we would definitely love to return!

Really nice, comfortable place right on the sea. The views are incredible. The bed is very comfy, and the kitchen was great for all our needs. The bonuses of a half bath and also a separate laundry room are really nice. Stores and restaurants are not far, walkable. Good host. Would strongly recommend.

I thoroughly recommend Fossil Cottage. The location is fantastic, right next to the water. It’s a very peaceful location, watching the tides and wildlife from the cosy living room. It’s as good as a specialist wildlife hide. I was lucky enough to watch an otter in front of the cottage for around 30 minutes on a rainy afternoon. Geoff and Fiona are very friendly and helpful. The cottage is lovely, warm and comfortable with a fascinating history. It’s clearly been renovated with a lot of love and it’s a privilege to be able to spend a few days there.
