They say that this 1820's house can be noisy, especially in the summer, but in the winter it was great. On my three-day weekend in early December, I believe there were two of us staying there (it has 5 rooms), so noise from guests was minimal, and my bedroom was on the back side, so I didn't hear the street noise. The hot tub was great, and I lit a fire in the outdoor fire pit on the first evening, which also was nice. Access to a full kitchen made it possible to cook and eat, and someone made choc chip muffins for us on Monday morning, which was a friendly touch.

This was my first time staying in a bed-and-breakfast, and it now has me convinced that I will stay at a bed-and-breakfast again. Our room was very cozy, and we love antiques, and our room was also filled with nice antiques, as well as the entryway upon walking into the bed-and-breakfast. we had to check in early due to a wedding and was flexible with letting us come early so that we could get ready for the wedding.

Went there with my husband for our honeymoon! It was so peaceful and quiet! The place was clean and very comfy! Less than 30 minutes from Acadia national park! I absolutely loved the shared fridge idea and they’re very considerate to leave snacks for the guests

The Mooring’s is a beautiful place to stay!! I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. The host’s were so kind and even upgraded our room free of charge! The views from the room are breathtakingly stunning!!! It’s right on the water and so peaceful. I HIGHLY recommend!

We loved our stay at The Moorings! It had a fantastic view of the bay and the newly updated kitchenette was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. We had a fire at night down by the water and truly enjoyed our stay, only wish we would've stayed longer!

We love Stonington in the off season and love these rentals! The views of the working fishing waterfront are incredible and the off season really is the best time to get to know locals. While many businesses are closed in the winter we found Stonecutters to be more than enough to satisfy our meal cravings and fun. Karaoke night was a blast. We also took the ferry to Isle au Haut for some off shore sightseeing. Highly recommend Clifford’s rentals when you visit Stonington! Clean, friendly, cozy rooms and the well stocked common area are all worth the rental price.

Nancy and Leslie were both great. Check in took a while but Nancy was wonderful throughout and very sincere. Leslie have a great welcome and tour. The location cant be beat, liteeally on the water and Southwest Harbor is a find but people in town told me not to tell anyone how wicked amazing it is. Will definitely be back!

Fantastic place to stay (andvery close to Cadillac mountain)! They have a fantastic Continental breakfast, and you can visit with one another as you drink coffee and eat their homemade muffins! This is the second time I have stayed here. I would highly recommend this location!

This is a wonderful place to explore the southern part of MDI. Close to Jordan Pond, 20 mins to Bar Harbor. Northeast harbor is a beautiful little town with good eating and shopping options. The staff was super friendly and responsive. Will definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay especially if you are not keen on the overcrowding in Bar Harbor. Beautifully kept Inn that is comfortable and quaint without being old fashioned.

We loved our stay at Acadia Hotel. Great location, nice service, and the perfect suite room for us. We went in the off season and the front desk was great at helping us with restaurant ideas. My note on not being responsive to my messages I would chalk up to being a hotel rather than an Airbnb. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Beautiful comfortable place to stay. Roomy bathroom with bath. Small kitchen with basic utensils which we used for a simple dinner one evening instead of eating out. We were tempted to make use of the fireplace because it was lovely but too tired after hiking all day!
