Very beautiful and well designed house in a quite and calm environment. Only 10 minutes walk to the street with plenty of restaurants. They also serve meals at this place with very good prices. The staff and the host are super kindly. I would absolutley reccomend to stay here rather than in the center of tissa.

Fantastic base for the safaris. They will sort you out with a jeep and everything you need. Even pack your breakfast so you can eat it in the car. Would recommend A+++

Put simply, we LOVED Isana: the unusual, airy, minimalist Japanese design, stunning location fronting onto such a pristine, unspoilt beach with (for our tastes) just the right level of activity to hold some interest and friendly faces without feeling remotely hectic, and absolutely divine food, made our stay feel wonderfully indulgent and relaxing. Tekla's cooking is, as we'd been told, incredibly good - she even allowed us into the kitchen to see how she put some of her curries together. It's not the cheapest place you'll stay, but it will no doubt be one of your favourites and most memorable. The beach puts others to shame in beauty and cleanliness and, although more comfortable seating for the beach and garden would have been welcome, the bodyboards meant there was little time for lounging around anyway!

Very nice and helpful host and his family. House was clean and nicely arranged, same we can say reg all Riverside area. Breakfast was delicious. We stayed only one night during our voyage through Sri Lanka and Riverside was one of most friendliest places we stayed in.

Our stay at Uchith’s homestay was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with delicious fresh juice, which set the tone for the rest of our visit. The room was very comfortable, and having our own little bar area was such a nice touch. One of the highlights of our stay was Uchith’s guided tour of the local area. He shared so much interesting information, and we felt like we got to experience the true heart of the place. On top of that, we enjoyed amazing homemade dinners both evenings—honestly some of the best meals we’ve had during our travels. Both Uchith and his family were incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. They were so generous with their time and stories, making us feel truly welcome and at home. This is by far the best homestay we’ve ever stayed at, and we would absolutely love to come back one day. It's a quiet, beautiful complex in the middle of nature. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Highlight is the excellent food, the pool, the proximity to nature as well as the uncomplicated arrangement of transfers and excursions. The staff are very eager to make everything possible. However, it should be prepared for animals to be on the property and also insects and geckos in the house. If you can get involved, you're in the right place. We highly recommend it - even with young children. Thank you!

We really loved staying here. Although it was just one night we were more than happy to be there. Super quiet place, really clean, the workers were really nice and the food they served was delicious. Would definitely recommend

Shehan‘s Place is a hidden gem. what makes it so Special is Shehan himself. He is the Perfect Host! He was very communicative, kind and caring. He offered to take us on Safari to Yala Nationalpark, where he basically knows every animal, road and rock. You could really feel how passionate he is about his area and the animals. We saw 4 Lepards and around 25 Elephants! Yay! Furrhermore he is a great Chef. We had Breakfast and Dinner in his Restaurant on the premise. The food was delicious and the best we had in SriLanka so far! Especially the Lobster, grilled calamari and chicken Curry is Top Tier! Thank you Shehan for being our Host!

This accommodations were exceptional with staff worthy of a 5-star hotel. The beach in front of the hotel was deserted with the lagoon a 5 min walk. It's really the perfect place to rest away from it all. We were lucky enough to spend an evening by the fire on the beach with Sidath and his wife who was there and it was one of our beautiful encounters in Sri Lanka.

Annie is a lovely host who communicates quickly. Her house is beautiful, very close to the stunning silent beach. Onali the house manager is wonderful and makes the best Sri Lankan breakfast, her dad who also works at the Villa is very sweet and helpful. It’s a really lovely place with lots of wildlife around (monkeys, many birds, peacocks, lizards, squirrels, chipmunks etc). We loved it and would gladly comeback for a longer stay. Oh and the house dogs are the cutest!

Great place to stay and lovely hosts we extended our stay as it was so good highly recommend , all staff were amazing !

We felt very comfortable at the place, the room was nice and clean. Two different beaches can be reached in a few minutes' walk. The Red Beach Café on the beach (3 minutes walk) is very nice and also recommended for eating. Breakfast in the accommodation was very good, including fruit plates. The only point of criticism is the shower in the room, unfortunately the water was never quite warm and the pressure was also very weak. All in all recommended for a stay in Tangalle.
