gorgeous quiet accommodation close to tangale town. close to a local beach and places to eat but there ate much nicer beaches 5 min tuk tuk away. the photos don't do it justice the place was immaculate we were well looked after by erish and gayyam who were always available to answer any questions, it was great to have a fully equipped kitchen so we could have calm meals as a family at the end of our trip really great value for money

Upul and his family are the nicest hosts. They helped out with everything we needed and made amazing breakfast and dinner for a reasonable price. It was much better than the near by restaurants. The location has a great pool and just a few minute walk from the beach. Our favourite beach was silent beach which is 5 minute by tuktuk. Be aware that Sri Lankan nature is around you so don’t be afraid of little insects. We’ve seen peacocks and iguanas in the garden. Overall we had a really good time.

Five exceeded our expectations, the staff are amazing, very friend and attentive. The food is great and you can eat on the beach, which we shared with only a handful of people, such a treat to watch the waves lap the shore and the fireflies and hermit crabs come out after sunset whilst dining on delicious fresh food. Our cabana was beautifully decorated with an outside bathroom, which was lovely and very private. The gardens are beautiful and lush. Thank you team for making our stay so wonderful and memorable, so lovely that you spoke to us and joined us for a beach litter pick and the dogs are super cute too! We will be back for sure!

This place is a paradise! This family is adorable and always very available. We had an excellent stay in this place, the pool is magnificent, the private beach downstairs is superb too. The food is very good, we ate in their restaurant for 3 days and it was always delicious! We recommend . Thanks Sanjeewani

Very pleasant accommodation in a quiet environment just a short distance from the beautiful beach in connection with a very nice hostess who will give you tips for trips around the area and arrange everything you need.

It was a very friendly welcome with a fresh juice to arrive. Enidu was flexible and helpful when it came to questions or requests. It was very clean and tidy. The rooms lovingly decorated with flowers and towels folded into elephants. Very original. Not very centrally located, but in 15 minutes the beach promenade is within walking distance. Enidu's house is located on a road that is not very busy at night. All in all a lovely, accommodating stay.

Very unique place with beautiful private beach surrounded. Host is very responsive. And people work there is super nice.

Lovely stay at Simply Peace, all the staff were incredible and really made the stay memorable. Beautiful view over the lagoon with the pool, little gym and massage place too. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing stay outside the hustle and bustle. 10 mins drive from Silent Beach which was stunning.

Lovely, quiet, tranquil and beautiful place. Situated right next to a huge beautiful mangrove lagoon which is amazing for kayaking. A 10minute walk from the best beach I saw whilst in Sri Lanka, very wide, sandy and clean, 2ith very few people on it and just a few bars. The water here is wonderful, soft waves and great for swimming. Not great for kids to swim in as there isn't much shallow water. The vibe at the accommodation is super chilled and informal and we were made to feel extremely welcome and at home. We would most definitely come back here, one of the highlights of our trip for sure. .

Wonderful stay, highly recommend! We were four adults staying here for 3 days and our time flew by. The property is located on a stunning, pristine beach. Aside from fishermen in the morning and a spattering of tourists, we had the beach to ourselves for most of the day. The property looks just like the photos - nice rooms and a swimming pool which the staff cleaned daily. A highlight of our stay was the home cooked food. We had fantastic Sri Lankan meals thanks to the villa's team. Only major complaint was the lack of outdoor umbrellas - we had to keep moving our lounge chairs to follow the shade from the trees throughout the day. Also we were able to enjoy swimming but note that the waves on this beach can be deceptively powerful - be careful if you have kids.

Such a magic and breathtaking place on earth. The house is quite simple but fresh with separate bedrooms with separate doors. But what a location. Your private paradise beach but with restaurants and small nice hotels as neighbors. Tangalle town is small, friendly and with amazing restaurants. Quite and genuine. To the left you have long beaches with sea turtles. To the right more friendly to swim. The ocean is so close and the only surprise was how roaring the Tangalle coast ocean is. Bring earplugs plugs for better sleep. But all worth it waking up walking two meters and tipping the toes in sand. In your own private villa. We were a family of four and enjoyed the bedrooms, bathrooms en suite and cosy balcony and outdoor terass.

We had the most amazing stay at Sergi’s villa and probably one of the best places I have stayed at. The home is perfectly kitted out with everything you need, it has the most beautiful swimming pool and an immaculately kept garden. It is a one minute walk from Mawella beach which is so nice and quiet. Also Suresh and his wife who manage the property are extremely helpful, they arranged a driver to take us to the airport and will even cook breakfast for you for a reasonable price. All in all we loved it and would have stayed for longer if we could

Located in Rekawa beach (near Ranna) about 10km from Tangalle, this isolated, oceanfront villa is the perfect getaway - I can't recommend it enough! The pictures do not do this place justice. Hans was responsive and helpful. The house staff were attentive and hospitable and we took advantage of paying for local food and having the staff cook for us during our three night stay - an incredible value based on local restaurant prices (and yummy too!). There is a restaurant closeby if you prefer that. The house is very large; the back yard and pool area spectacular; and the beach access great. You can also have the staff schedule multiple day trips to surrounding areas so this is a great base for exploring the southern coast. Highly recommended!
