We had a fantastic stay during the Goshogawara tachi neputa. Shirotone San is an awesome host and helped us get a spot to watch the parade. The house is a little difficult to find but you can navigate to kusushi jinja shrine which is a tiny shrine at the end of the block. The house is also within walking distance of the tachi neputa museum which is a must see! Don’t miss the second floor museum as well (beautiful artifacts). We loved staying here and enjoyed the easy access to the neputa festival and fireworks. Thank you!
A modern two-story building is presented, featuring a unique black and white facade. Large windows allow natural light to enter, while the name 'BLACK DIA' is prominently displayed on the front. A clear blue sky completes the backdrop.

Thank you again for a great stay, and for being flexible about late check out due to my work schedule. I also really appreciated the extra thoughtfulness of putting out the supplies I left last time.

Accommodates up to 8 people for group travel - Wamike

Absolutely recommend. it is worth it's price. I was a bit late than what I have expected because of trains being late, but the owners where understanding. The place is very interesting and anywhere in the building you go you can find something particularly interesting. The owners also have a booklet with a lot of information like where to eat, what to see and etc. I will come back in summer for a festival.

Experience Japanese life in an authentic Japanese-style room (with free pick-up and drop-off at Hirosaki Station/all-you-can-drink in the fridge)

If you're going to Aomori or Hirosaki, this is definitely a great place to stay. The couple are very friendly, attentive and considerate, and provide pick-up and drop-off from and to Hirosaki Station. The room and bathroom are tidy and clean, and the daily breakfast is a pleasant surprise. Every morning they help me with travel guides and provide pick-up and drop-off, which is especially thoughtful! This area is a particularly quiet residential area, and it is quite close to the main attractions of Hirosaki. I had a really good rest for the three nights I stayed here. Home away from Home! Thank you so much! Hope to see you again!
