The space
Wren's Nest is a quaint Grade II listed cottage, a perfect base for exploring this beautiful area of the North York Moors and North East Coast.

We have preserved the charming character of this Grade II listed cottage.

Whilst compact in size, it has everything you'll need for a wonderful stay.

The freestanding bath provides an indulgent soak after climbing Roseberry Topping, exploring the Cleveland Hills or the stunning coast.

The cottage features original beamed ceilings throughout.

The multi-fuel stove in the sitting room adds extra romance to this lovely retreat and provides a perfect cosy atmosphere to settle down to. This will be the go to spot for all pets to curl up in front of!

There is shared, south-facing yard which is separated by a small privacy screen. The cottage has sole use of the patio furniture to enjoy a morning coffee or alfresco dining.

The property is maintained to a high standard throughout and is a cleaned to Airbnbs COVID checklist, thus maintaining the highest standards of COVID safety.

All in all this is an excellent cottage in a wonderful location.

Guisborough is often described as the gateway to the North York Moors and this ancient market town, listed in the Domesday Book, is steeped in history, with Guisborough Priory dating back to the 12th century. The area is rich in history and heritage with an abundance of castles, abbeys, historic houses and museums.

The North York Moors offer lots of choices from a countryside picnic, a hike on the moors, a trip to the beach or following in the footsteps of Harry Potter on the North York Moors Steam Railway.

The delights of the Yorkshire coast are within an easy drive with Saltburn, Whitby, Runswick Bay and Staithes a must-see.

The drive to Helmsley via Rievaulx Abbey is highly recommended and this delightful market town has boutiques, delis, cafes and superb dining at a choice of hotels and pubs.

There is no designated parking space for Wrens Nest but there is parking opposite the cottage that is free to use.

The centre of this lovely market town is just a 4minute walk from the cottage, and has everything you'll need.
