Welcome to the Hatch Waypoint, a newly built modern, designer 2BR/2BA home perfectly positioned on Utah’s Grand Circle between Bryce Canyon & Zion National Parks. The home offers dazzling, unobstructed views towards Wilson Peak & the Paunsaugunt Plateau. Ideal for groups of up to 4, it serves as your upscale basecamp for endless hiking, world-class stargazing, and national park exploration. The space
Step inside to an airy, open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area, framed by panoramic windows that showcase stunning views toward Wilson Peak. Seamlessly extending from the living room is a spacious outdoor patio—the perfect spot to welcome the morning with a few yoga poses (mats provided!) or wind down in the golden afternoon light with a glass of wine. Designed with privacy in mind, the living area separates two distinct bedroom zones. A tranquil primary suite with a custom, built-in King size bed opens onto a private patio. The guest bedroom with queen bed may boast the best views in the whole house! Both bathrooms have full-sized showers, back and front-lit smart mirrors with three color tones, fans, and in-wall electric zone heaters to keep you extra cozy on those crisp desert nights. High-speed fiber wifi, mini split heating/cooling, a Smart TV, a well-equipped kitchen, an HRV air filtration system, and plush furnishings complete the home.
The home is accessed from the paved road by a gravel driveway. While the home interior is all one-level, there are several steps to enter the house at the main entrance and from the back patios, so it may not be ideal for anyone with accessibility concerns.
Our home is conveniently located near the highway. While you may notice some traffic noise during the day, nights are generally quiet, and we do not expect highway noise to disturb your sleep.
You will need a vehicle to stay at this property. While we are rural, the property is easily accessible with any vehicle year round, but depending what activities you are planning in Utah, you may want an AWD anyway! The sharp turnoff from Highway 89 when heading North to access the road to the house can come quickly. Please exercise caution on the highway and slow down and signal well before the turnoff, particularly at nighttime. Please also watch for wildlife on the highway.
We have a gravel driveway and a paved walkway to the front door.

Guest access
You will be sent a number code for the door prior to arrival. Your code will be active ONLY during the time of your stay. You will have full access to the house and property during your stay except for a few locked storage cabinets for supplies. Laundry facilities are available on-site for guests staying 3+ nights, and laundry detergent is provided for your convenience. Guests staying fewer than 3 nights may use the laundry facilities for a $10 fee. Please inquire for details or to request access.
Other things to note
The home’s exterior is standing seam metal. You may hear the occasional popping sound as the material heats and cools throughout the day. This is normal.
There is one Ring Doorbell camera on the property at the front entry. There are no cameras inside the home.
There is one Amazon Echo Dot located in the living area near the tv for you to play music etc. If you don't wish to use it / don't like Alexa devices, feel free to unplug it.
Wildlife is common in the area, so exercise caution on the highway. You will likely see deer, bunnies, & more on the property itself as well, so please keep an eye on kids outside.
This is the rural high desert, there may be the occasional bug or spider.

Please note that there is a small stream that runs through the nearby land. While it is not located on the property, it's close enough that curious little adventurers may discover it. Although it's quite small and generally not a significant concern, we ask that parents keep it in mind and ensure children explore the area safely and responsibly.
A 14-50 outlet is available for EV charging for a $25 fee. Please inquire for details or to request the code to unlock the charger. Please note, you will need to bring your own charging cable. The lock must be put back on the charger after each use.
The town of Hatch does not have a grocery store, so we recommend bringing groceries with you. The closest grocery store is in the town of Panguitch about 15 mins away. There are a handful of restaurants in Hatch (some are seasonal) as well as quite a few more in Panguitch (15 mins) and Duck Creek (25 mins). See our guidebook for specific recommendations.
