Old west history is alive in the Black Hills of South Dakota! It is plain to see why there were many characters who had wistful wanderings… and we do too! The blue skies, majestic pines, quaking aspen, wildlife and fresh air make every activity even more spectacular!

There is a parking space on the premises and we can help make arrangements for trailer parking if needed.

Lead is centrally located to access National Parks and Monuments, State Parks, geological wonders, skiing, and hiking!

The space
The “Wistful West Condo” is fully furnished with everything you may need to relax and enjoy your get away. The 2 bedrooms have king beds with 50” Roku TVs and WiFi for your evening relaxation after a long day of adventure!

Historic Deadwood and Terry Peak Ski resort is only minutes away. There is a grocery store and a couple gas stations a few blocks from the condo.

Within comfortable driving distance there are national monuments like Mount Rushmore and Devil’s Tower as well as Custer State Park and so much MORE in the Black Hills of SD.

The “Wistful West Condo” is just across the hall from laundry access with coin-operated washers and dryers for your convenience!

Lead is a historic town in its own right. Also a mile-high city, there are areas of interest down Main Street, nice walking paths and murals to see!! It is a short drive to Downtown Deadwood, Terry Peak ski area, as well as National Parks and many other attractions in the Black Hills!
