The space
This sunny, second-floor sanctuary includes a large furnished mezzanine that can be accessed from the primary bedroom, as well as from the common living area. An oversized hammock with room for two awaits a good book and an afternoon nap. With table seating for 6, enjoy the ever-changing sunset over the jungle as you dine on a home-cooked meal.
The kitchen has been thoughtfully equipped with utensils and dishes, food storage containers, and more– it's complete with a dishwasher & a reverse osmosis water spout for worry-free drinking water for the duration of your stay. A coffee bar by day/cocktail bar by night is well stocked with coffee beans, grinder, & coffee maker– bring out the cocktail tools (margarita, anyone?!) or wine glasses to cheers the special moments. Plastic glasses are also provided for a safe pool or beachside option.
The center island offers three dining spots & enough counter space to prepare guacamole made from the largest, most fresh avocado you could imagine. The cozy living room invites you to wind down from a sun-soaked day on a comfortable sofa, with a large smart TV to stream your favorite show or movie.

Other things to note
This is Akumal-Tulum, Mexico, there is construction happening everywhere. The population will double next year with the airport and train being complete. There may be construction in the complex, it is still being finished. At times, the power goes out, the internet goes down, the water stops, but only SOMETIMES. These things do happen and cannot be prevented. They usually come back quickly. There was 1 day in 2 months where the power was out all day, but that's the perfect time to head to the beach. In those 2 months, my power went out a few times but came back on within minutes, one time it was a couple hours. This is reality in Akumal-Tulum, it is growing so fast. Put that in your back pocket and know that a work day may have to turn into a beach day. It's like this now. Namaste.
