Welcome to our beautifully renovated Traditional Weavers Cottage, a charming retreat that honors its rich history while providing modern comforts. Originally a quaint one-up, one-down cottage, it has been thoughtfully transformed into a cozy property that captures the essence of traditional living.

As you enter, you’re greeted by a warm and inviting living area, perfect for relaxation after a day of exploring. The full-fitted kitchen boasts modern appliances while retaining its rustic charm, making it ideal for whipping up delicious meals. A designated workspace offers a peaceful corner for productivity, whether you’re catching up on emails or diving into a creative project.

Ascend the original stone staircase to discover a snug upstairs bedroom featuring a comfortable double bed with memory foam mattress, promising restful nights and sweet dreams. The bathroom is a blend of contemporary and classic, equipped with both shower and bath facilities, ensuring you have everything you need for a rejuvenating experience.

Step outside to a tiny outdoor space, perfect for enjoying a drink in the sunshine. Parking is directly opposite the cottage suitable for a small car, parking for larger cars can be accommodated as can charging for electric vehicles.

Throughout the cottage, you'll find plenty of original features that have been respectfully renovated, maintaining the character and charm of this historic property.

Weavers Nook is situated in the old part of Golcar nestled on the valley side and known for its little narrow roads and steep hills. Weavers Nook is roadside on a single track road which is not overly busy, there are places for cars to pass and the road is not long. If you are not a confident driver please don't worry as hosts of the cottage we will support you to navigate our Small Lane. Even though there's parking right outside the cottage there is a free car park in the village a short stroll away from the cottage.

Other things to note
Penny is a qualified Vinyasa yoga teacher and has her own tiny studio adjacent to Weavers Nook. She offers Restorative yoga classes on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis.

Her restorative yoga class is designed to help shift your nervous system out of fight and flight mode, promoting calm and peace for both body and mind. Through gentle movement, breath-work, and meditation, the session works to release tension and foster relaxation. Open to all abilities, it’s inclusive and welcoming, teaching simple techniques you can integrate into your everyday life for lasting balance and well-being. All equipment provided.
