The guest room is part of the house where I live with the cats Orie and Broertje and is located 800 meters from the Scheldt.
There are plenty of tips and tourist information available as well as city maps of historic Antwerp.
The biggest asset here is that Unique C is only 4.6 km from the City of Antwerp.

The space
The guest room is a spacious room, which serves as a bedroom and sitting area. There is coffee/tea, water and wine (25 cl) provided in the room. There is also a mini fridge in the room.
The living room, dining room and kitchen are an open area and flow into each other but are private. When you rent the guest room, breakfast is provided in the kitchen or on the terrace in the summer. If you wish or need to check out early, a "takeaway" breakfast is provided.
However, it is not possible to cook (extensively) or to consume a meal other than breakfast.

Guest access
Once through the front door, you go up through the hallway where the bathroom is located on the mezzanine floor and the spacious guest room on the 1st floor.
In the summer period, breakfast is served on the terrace if the temperature permits.

In a radius of 200 to 300 meters there is a Hyper Carrefour, an Aldi, O'Green, Brico and pizza hut.
At 800 meters you can get a fries, visit Rivino wine and tapabar or dine at Chef's Table as well as take public transport towards Linkeroever.

At the B&B, you can park on the street and it is free of charge. Parking is also free in the surrounding streets in Burcht.

On Linkeroever you have a free transfer boat that takes you directly into the historic center of Antwerp or you go through the historic pedestrian tunnel, Sint-Annatunnel (572 m long).
A 3 km from the B&B is the Galgenweel where you can practice water sports and Wakeboarding or just eat/drink at Regatta club.

A 2 km direction Zwijndrecht you can take tram 3 to the historic center of Antwerp or the Stadschouwburg, concerthal Sportpaleis, De Roma andTrix. But also the Centraal Station Antwerp and the Zoo.

Every 1st Sunday of the month is the shopping Sunday and the shops are open in Antwerp. Also every Sunday there is an antique and brocante market at the Sint-Annatunnel in the Sint-Jans-Vliet square and all Brocante shops are open in the neighboring Kloosterstraat.

At 100 meters from the door you have a nature and tidal area "de Burchtse Weel" where you can spot birds, jog or hike. There are also the cycling routes: 'art cities,' 'Flanders,' 'Sint-Anna' and 'Schelde' (junction 20 of Schldeland) and the (orange)F4 through. There is also a large fish pond for license holders.

Both in Burcht and in Zwijndrecht are numerous drink and eateries such as De Klok, Chef's Table, D'Ouwe Werf, De Oude Kroon, The Royal, De Gastronoom, Den Brasseur, Rivino Wine and Tapabar ... .
