Spacious and clean accommodation. Ideally located (15 minute walk from the center) Very nice view of the water. Caroline is very responsive with any questions we may have. If we have to come back we will not hesitate to choose this listing.

Great stay, great host

Peter’s place was very easy to find and extremely central for all the sites with great surrounding shops and restaurants. We could walk to all the main sites within 10 minutes! We found parking easy in a car park 5 minutes from the apartment. Despite being central, the apartment itself was very quiet inside with minimal road noise. The apartment was extremely clean and as pictured. The beds were very comfortable, which is not always the case with Airbnb places. A lovely touch were the Christmas decorations which had been put up! Peter was very responsive to our queries before and during our stay…The apartment was perfect for our short Christmas break to Gent! I would 100% recommend it!

My daughter has spent nearly 4 months in Camilla’s place as a student at Gent University for a semester exchange. The accommodation is a gem and is fully equipped for long term stays. First the environment is great : very secure and peaceful, with all commodities nearby (pharmacy, groceries, press shop, supermarkets less than 15 mn walking) and well connected to the center : tram station 10 mn away, the tram brings you then in the center in 10mn. And of course a cycling path which allowed her to get at University in 10 minutes ! About the flat itself : the pictures speak from themselves! Very cosy and beautiful and comfortable! Many plants, kitchen fully equipped, great shower, amazing stereo sound system, lots of light! About the host: Camillla was very welcoming, and attentive and responsive to my daughter’s needs and questions. Easygoing communication. We can only recommend her place, both for long and short term stays! … and we already feel a bit envious of the next lucky host !

We had a perfect stay at Remi's place! The accommodation is quiet and yet very central, we were within 10 minutes in the center of Ghent. The place was very clean and tidy and check-in was super easy thanks to the very accurate instructions. We will be happy to come back!

Tom & Jurgen were extremely welcoming and friendly hosts. The apartment was cosy, comfortable & warm for our whole stay. Raoul was a most welcome addition to our stay, and visited us for fusses. Tom & Jurgen provide the most thoughtful & helpful touches to make your stay incredibly comfortable, and it felt like a home from home. We will be back in the summertime to take full advantage of the beautiful terrace, and the huge window from the kitchen that opens onto it! we can't wait to come back.

Super cozy cottage. With a nice large fenced garden on the waterfront. Wood stove was top with this weather!

We had a pleasant time with friends at John's house. Everything was there to make us feel right at home. John is very considerate and helpful. The beds are large (1.80 m wide) and super comfortable! The house does not pay anything from the outside, right next to the train, but it is super well insulated and we were not disturbed at all by noise disturbances, we were quiet! It is well located for walks in beautiful reserves or along the canals, departure from the house. 10min drive from the beautiful center of Ghent. We loved it!

The place is very thoughtful and perfectly clean. It is equipped with all amenities, the necessary utensils for the kitchen and also with new and well-functioning appliances. The welcome juice and cookies are very welcome, such as the small wine cellar with beers and wines that you can enjoy leaving the money in a box. House well heated in winter apart from a portion of the heater on the top floor that does not heat up. It feels better than at home.

We had a lovely stay at Saskia's house. The house is very fully furnished, roomy, and clean. We were also warmly welcomed. Only tip: due to the weather this time of year, the accessibility was bad. Roads around the house are not paved and full of potholes. That together with a lot of rain gave a road full of mud and slippery. Tip is to report that in the listing.

Evelien's place was perfect for us and even with a toddler everything worked well so far. It is very convenient that the apartment extends only across the ground floor. Thank you :)

Bert’s place is perfect. It’s in a great location and super comfortable. I travel to Ghent several times a year and this is always the first place I try to book. Great find.

This was the 2nd time we stayed at Laura’s apartment. It’s one of our favourites, a really good Airbnb in a lovely area. Laura was also very helpful with a couple of queries we had. We highly recommend.

we had a wonderful time in Ghent thanks to Barts amazing communication and info, and of course the beautiful apartment. it was so nice to wake up and have a full view of the city's rooftops, watch the cyclists ride down the canal, and catch some sunlight in the lounge chairs by the window. Bart was very responsive and helpful, assisted us with all needs. Recommend!

Great stay! The accommodation matches the photos, very clean and well-equipped. The host was welcoming and responsive to our requests, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We'll be happy to go back!

We enjoyed the quiet, peaceful location with easy access to public transport. We also loved having a well equipped kitchen for cooking meals. Everything was as described and shown in the pictures. Our hosts met us and showed us things in the unit and gave us tips for local shops and things to do. We really enjoyed our stay. There was free parking on site also.

We had a great stay in Ghent. Dieter was very generous with his time and energy - he went out of his way to lend us bicycles for our stay. He also had great recommendations for the area.

Beautiful apartment that fit the pictures listed on the profile. The furniture is modern and high quality and the bathroom is very nice, too. We enjoyed the spacious lay-out, the good quality of the mattress and the living room with flatscreen TV, the sound system and the terrace with views from the park. The apartment was clean and fully equipped with all the necessities in the kitchen. Great place, highly recommended.
