Our spacious A-frame sleeps up to 10, with a private sauna, wood-burning fireplace, large deck, full kitchen, and plenty of room to gather.
Come for a PSU weekend, family getaway, or escape with friends. Spend mornings overlooking the farm and evenings around the fire.
The space
The A-frame sits above our working Christmas tree farm with beautiful views of the tree fields, pond, and surrounding mountains. Guests have their own private retreat while still getting to experience the peaceful rhythm of the farm.
Enjoy coffee on the deck, unwind in the private sauna, gather around the fire pit, or cozy up by the wood-burning fireplace. Depending on the season, you may see us caring for trees around the property—part of what makes a stay at Tuckaway unique.
Guest access
Guests have private access to the entire A-frame, including the house, large deck, private sauna, and outdoor fire pit area.
You’re welcome to enjoy the surrounding farm setting and views, but please remember that Tuckaway is a working Christmas tree farm. You may occasionally see us working elsewhere on the property.
Self check-in and ample parking are available directly at the A-frame.

The A-frame is in a peaceful rural setting about 30 minutes from State College. Cell service can vary by carrier (Verizon and AT&T generally have service at the a-frame).

Other private guest accommodations are located elsewhere on the farm, but the A-frame, deck, sauna, and fire pit are exclusively yours during your stay.
