Room in a vacation home

Your own room in a home, plus access to shared spaces.
Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. If you're looking for a romantic get away or active excursions, that's our jam! We've created @tinyadventures to help others have a home base that has it all! Our home backs up to 30 acres of nature preserve with trails, a fire ring, and sitting areas. You'll see & hear wildlife- nothing beats sitting by a fire with the sound of crickets, waking up with birds chirping or roosters crowing. All this nature with so many nearby cool day-trips!

The space
This lovely apartment is in the lower level (half basement) of our home, and is a full studio apartment with a kitchen, dining area, workdesk, living room, smart tv, sleeping area, and full bath. This space is geared to be clean and healthy, and empower toxin/chemical free living. All of the supplies, furniture, and materials are selected with this in mind. This stylish space will allow for a peaceful, relaxing time while catering to all preferences, from the multiple density pillows to the wine and kombucha.

You can also feel free to use any of our outdoor seating areas. Our stone patio seating area has string lights, a fire pit, and a water fountain. Our deck has an outdoor dining table, patio umbrella , and a grill. We have a couple rugged seating areas back in the woods if you’re up to it! One has a fire ring and chairs the other has a chimnea and you’d grab a blanket, and perhaps a bottle of wine 🍷!

The listing says it can sleep 3, that would be 2 in the bed and one on the couch (each end reclines) or a blow up mattress that is available.

Also, the space is not really set up for little ones ... nick knacks, white bedding, white walls, cupboards, table, fireplace has "rocks" or pebble in front, etc. Part of what we personally love when we travel is the space to be clean, cozy, and quality. We want to provide that for you while you travel, and the next person after you!! IF you are traveling with little ones, please take extra precautions being in someone else's home, ensuring they eat at the table in the dining area. We do have a nice backyard they can play in, a park down the road/walking distance, Bunker Park (horse stables, water park, hiking, biking, disc golf) right across outside of our neighborhood, it's just that the actual studio apt was not designed with little ones in mind. Thank you for your care.

Guest access
Parking is in the third stall spot in the driveway.

Upon arrival we will meet you at the front door with a key to your room and a unique code to get into the garage entrance.

Semi-private access through the garage. You will pass through a small shared foyer/laundry area to get to the apartment door.

During your stay
IF you are renting this on its own, without the whole house, the following applies : We run two businesses out of the home, so during the weekdays we have clients and customers coming and going through the main upper house. This lower level apartment has a semi-private entrance through the garage door, and through a shared laundry room. From the laundry room you can go right down to your apartment. On weekends feel free to use the front door and go through the living room to get to the apartment door.

Other things to note
We run two businesses out the the main house area and have clients and customers coming and going frequently; however, most of our appointments are virtual these days.

You are free to use the backyard, the patio, the woods and the 30 back acres.

I put this in 2 spots to increase the chances of it being seen:
