Escape to Timberline Ranch, a 30-acre horse farm near historic Smithfield. Horses and goats are visible from multiple windows. Your bedroom is cozy with room-darkening drapes, plenty of blankets and pillows. The kitchen is well stocked. Coffee station stocked and to-go cups. Bathroom has a ceiling heater, towel warmer, essentials. W/D with detergent. Step out to the front porch rocking chairs, fire pit (wood incl), and picnic table. Explore trails, follow the creek, and hunt for hidden gnomes.

Wheelchair accessibility throughout home. All photos and measurements have been submitted to Airbnb and have been pending their review since July. If a potential guest has any concerns for accessibility, please feel free to send a message, and we will be happy to provide additional photos and information.

Cottage front porch/patio with ceiling fan and chairs. Fenced in yard behind the cottage. Fire pit area. Woods and trails.

Horses and other farm animals:
Guests may request interaction with the horses, goats and chickens when host is available and present. We will be happy to tell you about our endangered Colonial Spanish Horses and provide a guided visit with the animals. Bring boots, or other sturdy footwear if you wish to interact with a horse in a designated area. We do not offer horseback riding at this time, but can recommend a couple places nearby.

* For your safety and that of the animals -Guests and pets are not permitted to enter horse pastures unattended. Please do not feed animals without permission. We have specific treats for some of the animals if you would like to feed them.

Clontz Park Fishing Pier and Boat Ramp. 8.9 miles. 14 minute drive.

Huntington Beach and boat ramp is 22 miles away. Approximately 30 minute drive.

Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg approximately 56 minute drive via I-64 or Scotland Jamestown ferry
