The Old Bicycle Shop is a cosy bedsit, close to Glastonbury town centre, with kitchenette and shower room.
The accommodation has its own entrance and is snugly double glazed. There’s a smart TV with Amazon Prime and Netflix (excluding paid content) as well as the usual Freeview channels, also Truespeed fast WiFi free of charge.
Ideal for two adult (18+) guests only, whether visiting Glastonbury for its unique esoteric atmosphere or as a base to explore the beautiful Somerset countryside.
The space
As the name suggests The Old Bicycle Shop was once, way back, a bicycle shop selling and repairing Raleigh bicycles. Now it has been refurbished and upgraded as a holiday let.
The main room, with its own entrance off the street, has a comfy bed settee (with Ikea memory foam mattresses) plus a dining space with table and two chairs. Based on past guests' preferences the room is set up in bed mode but if you prefer to arrive to a settee just message us and we'll set that up for you. If you arrive with it in settee mode your pillows are in the drawers underneath and your quilt is in the trunk opposite.
The Kitchenette has a microwave, kettle, toaster, sandwich toaster, cafetiere, nespresso machine and bowls, utensils, dinner service and cutlery for you to prepare light meals. There is a refrigerator with a freezer compartment. An extractor fan keeps cooking odours to a minimum.
The bathroom has a large step in shower, washbasin and toilet with towels, shower gel and handwash provided. There's a wall cupboard to store your personal washing kit etc. which also contains a hairdryer for your use.

Guests are advised that absolutely no smoking, vaping, naked flames, candles or incense are permitted in the property. This is a strict condition of staying due to insurance conditions.
The accommodation is for two adults only and not suitable for under 18’s. Guests are not permitted.
Please note all bookings are accepted on the understanding that guests are staying solely for the purpose of a holiday which is exempt from the Protection of Eviction Act 1977.
