Extra spacious

Guests love this home’s spaciousness for a comfortable stay.
The Now and Then Cottages are definitely comfy and cozy, but they are so much more. A local craftsman constructed the cottages with handpicked rocks from the beautiful Nueces and strong cedar from the surrounding hills. Saying that they have character is an understatement, but in addition, they are inviting and comfortable. Don't miss the chance to experience them, now and then.

The space
The front cottage, sometimes called cottage one, or I like to call it The Now Cottage. There is no better time to enjoy the peace, comfort and uniqueness of the Now Cottage. It is basically one big room that show cases enormous river rocks that reach to the ceiling supporting impressive cedar beams. A little screening here and there allows for some privacy for the sleeping area from the living/kitchen area and of course, the bathroom has its own space.

You can grab a cup of coffee and something quick to snack on and go outside to enjoy a shade filled yard, birds chirping. Or you can stay in and marvel at the craftsmanship and watch the morning news. And...I bet there isn't a better place to grab a nap.

A nearby Airbnb house that I also host is Sonny's and it is across the street. If you are traveling with friends and family, check it out.

Guest access
Guest will have total and complete assess to the front, Now Cottage and the surrounding yard that is in front, to the north (7th Street side), and directly behind the cottage. Guest can also assess the covered parking to the south of the cottage.

There will be a smart lock on the front door facing Frio Street and at booking, a code will be issued to you.

Other things to note
There are a security cameras on the outside of the house that can transmit audio and pictures.

I am a native raised Nueces Canyon girl that loves the Nueces River and our little town. I am proud to offer others the opportunity to enjoy the Nueces Canyon Area. I am also proud of my second home town, the inviting community of Mason. I am thrilled to share its charm with others as well. Enjoy
