Fully outfitted kitchen for cooking meals at home! The open common area leads out to large deck off the back of house with beautiful views of Long Cove as the house sits high up on the hill! Take the stairs down to large concrete patio area down by the dock/water. Do you have your own boat or jet ski that you would like to bring with you - let your host know. Vessels cannot be docked at private dock.

Other things to note
The public road that leads to the home is not paved and will have water on it if it rains. Drive slowly as the surface can be uneven and is a residential road please put your phones down and keep to 10-15 miles per hour as you drive down the road...it is all part of the experience to get to The Hideaway Spot!

Parking is for 2 cars only.

Water depth is 4-5 feet near the shore and about 26 feet deep just past the edge of the dock. For your safety, please no diving into water!

There are no steps in the space however if you want to go down to the dock you will have to walk down stairs as pictured in the listing.

No grill available to guest on property; no grilling on property due to fact home and deck are built of all wood construction.

No use of the boat, boat lift, or dock for personal watercraft. There is one medium sized solo stove on the property, you must bring own wood.

Due to narrow roads and limited parking boats on trailers are not at the house.

My work: Professional Host !
HELLO There!!! I moved to the Outer Banks from Ellicott City, MD in 2013. I studied Human Nutrition, Foods & Exercise with an emphasis in Exercise and Health Promotion at Virginia Tech and put that knowledge to work on a daily basis as a Pilates Instructor at the only classical Pilates Studio in the OBX, The Presidio of Pilates! In addition to my education, my love for business and entrepreneurial spirit led me to AirBNB! I CoHost multiple spaces in locations throughout the United States and as a Professional Referrer of AirBNB I take great joy in teaching folks how to start their own business hosting by themselves or with assistance. I have taught a course at the local church - The Path To Financial Freedom with AirBNB - I LOVE to TRAVEL - so reach out if you would like me to teach a course in YOUR home town in the US or Internationally! Things that bring me great joy: 1. My relationships with my K9 Medusa, kitties Oli & BB, close friends & family, clients & guests! 2. Water (referring to all large bodies of water....not the beverage! ;) 3. Beach walks and Podcasts! 4. Meditation 5. Pilates 6. Quotes!! As an Air Ambassador, I am grateful for every guest, and potential new host, I correspond with! I look forward to hosting YOU, your loved ones, and many more in the months and years to come...truly a labor of love! Should you need assistance in hosting your own property, I would be delighted to help you with that AS WELL! Travel quotes that inspire: ~A good traveler has no fixed plans, and is not intent on arriving. Pat Conroy ~All journeys have secret destinations of which the traveler is unaware. Martin Buber ~Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -- I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. Robert Frost ~Remember that happiness is a way of travel - not a destination. Roy M. Goodman ~Own only what you can always carry with you: know languages, know countries, know people. Let your memory be your travel bag. Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn ~We are all travelers in the wilderness of this world, and the best we can find in our travels is an honest friend. Robert Louis Stevenson ~Experience, travel — These are an education in themselves. Euripides ~Little by little, one travels far. J. R. R. Tolkien ~Travel far enough you meet yourself!
