Would you enjoy relaxing in a garden full of berry bushes? How about a meal outside on our mahogany deck with a waterfall, bubbling brook and Koi pond? At night, under the stars, grab a blanket and sit on our stone patio in front of our gas fireplace. If the weather is cool, come inside by the fire in the Living room.

Or are you here on a business trip and looking for a quiet place to prepare for an important business meeting? We have high speed wifi and a large, quiet home for you to prepare.

Are you looking to visit the wine country? It's a very pretty drive from here, and I know some things about wine. I would be happy to make some recommendations of wineries to visit.

Are you moving to Portland? I bought my home in 2014, and moved here from San Francisco, California, so I can tell you all the reasons why I think Portland is a wonderful place to live.

Come stay with us.

Your bedroom has two double paned windows, a NEW queen sized mattresses with a pillow top, comfortable new pillows (memory foam pillows on request). There is also a built in closet, nightstand and a desk

Your bathroom is across from your room with a shower and bathtub. There are clean towels and toiletries available. There is also a half bath on the main floor of our home. You also have access to a full size washer and dryer in our Laundry room.

There is one female cat in the home named Mina (indoor only) - she is a rescue so she may hide for the first couple of days until she is used to you. Our three level Portland Foursquare is bright and clean with several rooms for relaxation and respite (3600 sq feet). We have a front porch, as well beautiful front and back yard. Inside our home there is a front Parlor, Living room with gas fireplace, Dining room, Family room, half Bathroom, and Kitchen with Kitchen nook. A high speed WiFi internet connection is available throughout the home.

Our new home is clean and comfortable with hardwood floors throughout and carpet in your bedrooms. There is amazing natural light with windows everywhere, and unique and original art in every room. The Living room has a large flat screen with surround sound, Cable TV, Netflix, Amazon, DVD, and Sony movie player.

There is also a gas BBQ outside on our back porch.

The downstairs basement is complete with a granny/in-law unit that has an entrance from our main floor, but they also have their own outdoor entrance. There is a couple that lives on that floor. They share the backyard, BBQ, and do Laundry on the weekends on the floor where your bedroom is.

Guest access
The House of Healing & Love works well for both work and leisure travelers with high speed WiFi.

There are six stairs to enter our home and no wheelchair access. There is also a stair case from the main level to the second floor. I will help you with luggage if I am home to greet you.

There is parking in front of our home. Our front door is across the street from the bus station that takes you to downtown Portland.

During your stay
I work in my home, as well as have a practitioner space for clients.

I am happy to make suggestions for where to visit while you are here in town, and am available to answer any questions about Portland or help you in planning your adventures in the city. I can give you plenty of advice on road trips, camping and hiking throughout Oregon should you be headed anywhere after Portland or want a day trip as well. As a wine lover, I can also recommend wineries to visit in nearby Willamette Valley, which is a 30 minute drive from our doorstep.

Neighborhood highlights

We are located in Southwest Portland, in a cute neighborhood called Multnomah Village. Multonomah is about a five-minute drive from downtown Portland, and 20-minute drive to PDX. With tree studded windy roads, and a charming and eclectic business district, Multnomah developed in the 1910s around a depot of the Oregon Electric Railway of the same name. From our home, you can walk to Multnomah in 15 minutes (or drive in 5 minutes) and go shopping, as well as grab food, coffee, or a beer.

Our street itself is quiet, safe, and the neighbors are quite friendly. There is a park directly across the main access road to our home, and Gabriel Park and Lewis and Clark College are an 8 minute drive.
