“The perfect bothy... thank you 🙏” Liz, Jul 2026.

Situated in my garden in the sleepy lochside village of St Fillans. Relax & chill, with a generous welcome basket (inc drinks), log burner, wifi, smart tv, patio & my personal local eating/walking/cycling/driving suggestions to enjoy!

We welcome single nights, however many guests regret not booking longer.

The space
The Bothy is west facing and conveniently set within the rear garden adjacent to my home. Within walking distance of all village amenities & a convenient starting point or stopover for local walks, cycles and onward journeys.

A studio style self contained space, with its own private entrance, ideally suited for individuals or couples. Frequently guests' first reaction is not only to tell me how beautiful the space is, but also that it's much bigger than it appears in the photographs.

The Bothy is finished to the highest standard and consists of -

Boot room - a convenient separate space with a large cupboard which incorporates wardrobe, shelves & drawer storage, ample space for hanging/storing clothes, larder food etc. This means all luggage, outdoor footwear, coats etc. can be kept in one place allowing you to keep your living and sleeping area chilled & clutter free.

Bed - in the main living area the comfortable king size bed with fresh 100% cotton bedding. Fantastic mountain views facing out through the french doors.

Breakfast - your breakfast basket will contain a selection of cereals, bread, jams & treats on your arrival day. I also provide an appropriate supply of milk, butter & fresh juice for your fridge.

Ensuite - wc, washbasin and contemporary electric shower complimented by Scottish soaps, body wash, shampoo & conditioner (for use during your stay), heated towel rail and luxurious towels.

Food storage - the kitchenette in The Bothy is deliberately compact to maximise your living space. There's an under counter fridge to keep fresh items & drinks refrigerated. There's a large storage cupboard in the Boot Room which includes open & enclosed shelf space you can use for larder food on longer stays.

Kitchenette - compact fitted kitchen includes sink, fridge, dishwasher, microwave/grill/convection oven/air fryer, toaster, coffee maker, kettle & breakfast bar and has hillside views through window.

Indoor seating - individual seats and stools allow flexibility for relaxing to take in the views or just relax.

Outdoor seating - a compact outdoor area includes patio furniture seats, sun parasol, & dining table, extending your living space in good weather.

Heating - underfloor heating is installed throughout The Bothy’s beautifully tiled floors. A contemporary log burner compliments the cosy feel with unlimited supply of logs.

Entertainment - Smart TV with Freesat and access to streaming services like Netflix & Prime. Bluetooth audio system with ceiling speakers and free WiFi extending out to the patio.

Bike storage - secure lockers available at the rear of The Bothy.

Views - to the west through the French doors with stunning views of the hills that enclose the nearby Loch Earn. The kitchenette window has views north and up The Girron. Both windows offer complete privacy with black out roller blinds.

Wedding guests - we offer wedding guests at Comrie Croft a service that includes early check in (noon onwards), and a late check out (until noon). It’s just an extra £20 that we can include as an addition to your booking.

Guest access
Guest have exclusive access to The Bothy.

Other things to note
Beware of staying for just one night :-) I’m happy to offer one night stays but our guests tell us they wish they’d booked for longer. I’d recommend 3 nights, giving you 2 full days to explore.

I recommend you plan in advance when considering places to eat, drink & visit to understand what's open when & what services are offered across the different seasons. My personal recommendations are in my Guidebook on my listing, which Include feedback on my most recent visit. Any questions drop me a message in advance of your stay.

My work: Yoga teacher
I spend too much time: Ripping my knitting
In recent years I’ve returned to my family roots in Highland Perthshire, calling a sleepy loch side village home. A truly special place with amazing scenery & wildlife on my doorstep. I'm a Yoga Teacher practicing at two local venues & I also enjoy other peaceful pursuits including gardening & interiors. My spaces are The Bothy, established 2019, and The Den, established 2022. The choice is always yours, the welcome is always heartfelt.
