Welcome to the Sunshine House, a sunny Sarasota retreat in a quiet neighborhood! This 3BR/2BA home has a saltwater heated pool, fully equipped kitchen, spacious living area and an office setup with super fast WiFi and an extra monitor. Pet friendly with a fully fenced yard. We stock beach chairs, loungers, umbrellas, towels, bags and toys, plus 4 bikes (one recumbent). Lido Beach is 7 miles away, Siesta Key 10. Downtown dining and shopping are minutes out. Your perfect getaway awaits!

Access to the trails is adjacent to the driving range. The entrance is a 9 min walk / 2 min bike ride from the house.

Whole house except the master closet which is used for the owners. There is another closet with shelves for folded clothing in the master bedroom.

Other things to note
Please note we charge an optional $60 per night to heat the pool.

Please note the master walk in closet is locked for owner usage. There is another sliding door closet in the master with shelves but no option to hang clothing. Other guests have used the coat closet or closets in the guest bedrooms for hanging clothing.

The owners, Jeff and Rachel Mele, purchased this second home to be closer to Rachel's parents. The house is available as a vacation rental when not in use by the family. Prior to owning this home, Rachel and Jeff owed a beach house in CT where they were super hosts on Airbnb for 10 years. The Sunshine House is inspired by a cherished family memory. Growing up, Rachel’s mom always called her “Sunshine.”
