Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Our one bedroom cottage sits between the village center and the ocean. Large open space downstairs with living, dining and kitchen and a full modern bathroom. Upstairs bedroom. Private terrace surrounded by gardens, grill, outdoor shower. Quiet.
$50 FEE FOR FAILURE TO RECYCLE OR FOR USE OF NON-BIODEGRADABLE PRODUCTS.

The space
The cottage is light and airy with many south facing windows. The bedroom feels a bit like a tree house as it sits up at the tree canopy level. The woods and sand road make for a very rural and peaceful feel yet we are an easy walk or bike ride to the village center and all the water and beach locations you could ever want.

Guest access
Guests have their own separate parking area, a separate and sweet terrace and gardens, charcoal grill, outdoor shower (weather permitting). Everything is set up inside for full function living. However there is no dishwasher or microwave. There cottage is fully heated and the bedroom has a lovely, quiet air conditioner. Streaming TV, WiFi, iPod dock. All paper and cleaning products, biodegradable shampoo, conditioner and body wash, fresh herbs and spices, sheets, towels (bath, beach and kitchen) and two terry robes are supplied.

Other things to note
The hiking, walking, and biking on the old roads and trails on the Cape are a great asset and are easy to find online at Cape Cod Trails. Many historical locations are on Cape Cod for those history buffs. Whale watch trips leave McMillan Pier in Provincetown regularly in Spring, Summer and Fall. The other Outer Cape towns... Orleans, Eastham, Truro and Provincetown offer their own share of dining, entertainment, shopping and magnificent land and seascapes.

Neighborhood highlights

Our little corner of Wellfleet is quiet and peaceful even in the middle of the summer tourist season. It's a great area to escape to, protected from noise, wind and traffic that you'll find on busier roads or more crowed neighborhoods. Still, access couldn't be easier to swimming, boating, biking, restaurants, galleries, shopping, etc, etc. Many destinations are an easy bike ride or walk from the cottage. Or hop in your car and be someplace grand in 5-10 mins.

Lives in Wellfleet, Massachusetts
I am a full time resident of Wellfleet MA and work as a private practice psychotherapist. My husband is a writer and artist. Together we designed and built our house and cottage on our property in Wellfleet. We have recently purchased a house in the Catalina Foothills section of Tucson AZ which is available on Airbnb except during the winter months when we will be there ourselves. We travel regularly especially to the Sierra Mountains in CA, the Pyrenees in southern France or Paris and San Miguel de Allende and Oaxaca, Mexico and often bring home art work. The Wellfleet year-round community, my gardens, the trails, ponds, ocean and harbor provide us with many opportunities to be creative, social, exercised and politically active. It's not only a great place to visit, it's a great place to live.
