The space
Tritons Treasure is a 4 bdrm , 4 full baths, w/a large bunk room included with XBOX gaming system, & comfortable beds for children or adults. The bunk room maintains a classy design that is both inviting, playful and colorful, while accommodating to mature guests and youngsters alike.
For our tiny guests, we offer a portable high chair, bikes, toys, bike trailer and an extra large portable crib. There is a “Moby” WiFi camera in the pantry for guests to use to monitor small children/infants that are in a different room. It can be difficult to hear a crying baby upstairs if you are in the kitchen. The home is very well insulated. Whatever you use, please clean and return to it’s original location. There are safety gates at both sides of the main house entry, at the top of the exterior stairs and at the top of the entry stairs on the main level and at the 3rd level. It is advised that guests traveling with children utilize these safety gates when you are in the home. Safety gates do not replace adult supervision. They are merely a deterrent, not a guarantee for your child’s safety.
The living room and dining is open concept, allowing guests to interact from every main room. The attached covered balcony has a full seating arrangement and dining set too. An Oculus Virtual Reality Headset is provided for guest use. Please make sure it is put away properly to avoid being charged if it gets damaged from improper use. Board games and binoculars are also provided. The sectional is high quality performance velvet, with additional seating provided for lounging and watching the large 70” Smart TV. Throughout the home guests will find several unique antiques and novelty items including a bathroom guestbook to add a little humor to your experience.
The master bedroom boasts a very private balcony w/ ample outdoor seating, luxurious, hotel quality en-suite master bath with dual shower heads & breathtaking ocean views. Guests will rest well on the medium firm hybrid mattress w/down comforter and high thread count cotton/linen blend sheets. This is NOT your typical vacation rental, no detail has been overlooked here.
All bedrooms include wall-mounted smart TVs, luxury bedding from pottery barn or similar vendor and en-suite baths. Guests will also enjoy the ocean views from every single room excepting their bunk room that has the only bay view in the house.
Triton’s Treasure sleeps 8 adults and up to 4 additional children comfortably. Occupancy rate is based on 8 guests. Additional fees may apply for additional guests.
Gas grill provided for upstairs use and traditional briquette grill/smoker provided for use on ground level.
Guests have full access to the entire house, excepting the bunk room closet and garages. These spaces are currently off limits to guests.
Guests with a flare for home cooked cuisine will appreciate the well-stocked kitchen, where every detail has been identified. Pots, pans, bakeware, cutlery, flatware and every gadget you might need to prepare glorious meals at home. The commercial 36” Thor range provides additional cooking surface space and a larger oven. The pot filler is also a useful addition when you’re ready for a delicious crab boil.
All bedding, linens and towels are provided including washable make-up hand towels.
For coffee enthusiasts, a Keurig is provided with the option of single cup or full pot. Guests will need to buy coffee filters if making a pot of coffee. Starter coffee pods are provided along with coffee presses, electric froth maker, electric and stovetop tea pot and starters for guests to enjoy.
The bar has glassware for cocktails, mixed drinks, and wine. Plastic barware is provided for outdoor & poolside use. Please, no glass in or near the pool. Broken glass is very difficult to see in the pool, requiring it be drained if broken glass falls inside.
Beach equipment is also provided including, beach towels, ice chest, pop up tent, wagon, fishing poles and tackle box, body boards and more. Golf carts are available to rent nearby. We recommend Ricks Golf Cart Rental. They offer other items for rent too. The owners golf cart is stored on the ground floor inside the open garage. Please do not tamper with it or allow children to climb on it. The outdoor shower is currently not operable.
This is your opportunity to book one of the most well equipped homes on the entire island, with so many amenities, guests will never be in short supply of things to do or comforts to enjoy.

Guest access
Guests will be provided a private, one-time code for entry. You have full access to the home and amenities while you’re visiting. This home is one of very few on the island that are within walking distance to the beach and have a private swimming pool. Say goodbye to packing the bags and trekking out to the public pool.
Other things to note
The exterior and entry of the home are situated with live feed cameras. For safety of guests and the home and to confirm your arrival or immediately address any entry issues that could arise, the cameras remain on at all times. Please do not tamper with or attempt to cover cameras.
Location of all monitoring systems are limited to the exterior of the home only.
There is an additional fee of $500 per guest, per night for any guests that arrive and are not in existing reservation. No more than 12 guests total are permitted, and any additional guests are required to have prior approval. Fees will be charged to renter regardless of length of stay of their guests and regardless of number of occupants disclosed on initial approved reservation.
The pool heater is available from October-April only. A $75/per day or $500/wk fee will be assessed for use of the pool heater. Guests that want the pool heated will need to contact their concierge. Pool heater can be utilized up to 8/hrs per day when renter exercises option to purchase pool heater use at daily or weekly rate.Guests may not tamper with pool equipment, including the pool heater. The pool heater is monitored. There is a flat fee of $500 charged to primary renter when the pool equipment has been adjusted or tampered with by renter or their guests. Only the host, concierge or designated person is authorized to make adjustments to pool equipment.
No ANIMALS of any type are permitted on the property without prior approval. This includes service animals! Homeowner is severely allergic to animal hair, therefore ONLY hypoallergenic animals can be considered. This includes service animals and emotional support animals. Any guest attempting to bring an animal without prior approval will be evicted and no refunds will be provided. Primary renter will be assessed a cleaning fee of $500 to clean the home and all furnishings affected by pet hair. Guests that arrive with a pre-approved animal must meet with their concierge or hosts representative in person. Guests will need to demonstrate that their animal is indeed hypoallergenic, well behaved and within the owners immediate control. If an animal is not a recognized breed that is hypoallergenic or the animal is not well behaved snd under the control of the pet owner, the dog will not be permitted to enter the home or remain on the property and alternatives for boarding will need to be utilized. Guests will not receive a refund if their animal does not meet the criteria to remain at the home as our guest. Well behaved, potty trained, hypoallergenic dogs are permitted. A fee $250 per pet will be assessed for guests bringing an approved animal. Guests are 100% responsible for any damage caused by their animal. Animals are not permitted on furniture without covering it up first. Please do not allow your animal to roam inside or outside without supervision. The region has predators and it is not safe for your pet to roam. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet. Dog poop bags are provided.
There is absolutely NO SMOKING OR VAPING in the house or on any indoor or outdoor furniture or under any patio cover. There are chairs located outside the primary, covered seating areas for smokers. For those that do smoke, please clean up all butts, ash and empty your ashtrays in an airtight bag and place it in the trash.
The swing set is for children 12 and under only.
The upper bunk is only to be used by children 10 and older with a maximum weight of 150lbs. Failure to abide by this can result in injury or death.
Outdoor swings and patio furniture should only be used according to the manufacturer instructions. Hanging swings and hammock have a weight limit of 200lbs. Guests that use equipment are expected to follow these recommendations or they do so at their own risk.
Please be advised the pool is under the house and it can be accessed from multiple points of entry/access. Children are to be supervised at all times. Adults should never be alone in the pool, nor should adults utilize the pool if they’re intoxicated. There is inherent risk renting a home with a pool. Renters are responsible for informing and making certain their guests understand the rules and their responsibilities in and around the pool. Renter and their guests agree to hold the homeowners, affiliates and appointed representatives harmless in the event of injury or even death. Guests staying at Triton’s Treasure have read this listing and the house rules and contract beforehand and staying in the home as a guest constitutes agreement to the terms of the contract. We live in beautiful Placerville, California, located about 40 minutes from well known South Lake Tahoe. Situated in the historic Gold Rush region, we enjoy the area and our 15 acre homestead. Our kids are mostly grown, with one still home making his way through high school. We enjoy traveling and our greatest vacations are almost always on the beach! We purchased a beach house in Jamaica Beach for our love of the region, the southern hospitality, the amazing cultural influences and with a hope that we can eventually put down roots in Texas when we retire:)
