The space
Pool Room: Heated pool is available year-round, hot tub, sauna, large smart TV mounted on fireplace, bar, fridge/freezer, commercial bar style dart board (machine takes dollar bills), towels, pool floats, kids life jackets and pool toys to help ensure a relaxing stay. Pool depth is 4-8ft deep. I highly suggest bringing a robe for getting out of the pool for comfort and lounging. Pool room does not have air conditioning.
Kitchen: Fully equipped with Keurig, coffee pot and French press, crockpots, air fryer, toaster, pots and pans, mixing bowls, hand mixer, Instapot, high-end 6 burner stove with commercial sized oven (second stove in the basement kitchen), cork screw and smart fridge!
Dining room: Antique table extends to easily sit 16 (leaf inserts are stored within the table), high chair and booster seat.
Office: Large desk for remote workers that has a Peloton for those who desire a quick workout.
Family room: Has large smart tv, fireplace and couch big enough to seat 8+ people with 3 built-in recliners.
Bedroom 1: "Master suite" has a full-size bed with a small en-suite bathroom with shower, a walkout balcony, smart TV and charging station for phones.
Bedroom 2: This huge, finished attic bedroom has a king memory foam bed, full memory foam bed and two twin beds, a small desk, smart TV and charging station for phones.
Bedroom 3: Has a queen size futon with a memory foam topper, memory foam sleeper chair that folds out to a twin bed, smart TV and charging station for phones.
Bedroom 4: Largest bedroom on 2nd floor has king memory foam bed, 55" smart TV, pack n play, infant bouncy seat and charging station for phones.
Bedroom 5: In-Law Suite in basement with private bath, kitchen, full memory foam bed, large memory foam couch (folds out into bed), smart TV and charging stations for phones. This room is next to utility room with pool equipment with runs 24x7.
Parking: Large driveway can fit 6 vehicles (2 spots are covered) + street parking on Pearl St.
Full bathrooms are located on the main floor off the kitchen/pool room foyer, on the second floor is a shared bath and the master bedroom bath and basement has full bathroom with double shower and large changing room.
WIFI is available throughout the property.
Washer and dryer are available for guest use in the basemen and detergent pods and softener are provided.
Patio has a solo stove for bonfires but you will need to bring your own wood to burn.
*Early check-in or Late checkout requests are subject to a $200 fee. If we have back-to-back reservations, we will not be able to accommodate your request.
**Private chef and babysitting recommendations are available upon request.
Guest access
Guest access to the garage and storage area in the basement is prohibited.
On the day of check-in guests can access property via front door deadbolt keypad--code is the last four digits of the phone associated with the Airbnb account making the reservation.
Other things to note
Our property is high in demand, and when you reserve Airbnb offers inexpensive travel insurance.
Professionally maintained pool (chemicals tested 1–2x weekly). To keep the home comfortable, we ask that the pool room door stays closed during your stay. Though it's more expensive, I use bromine and not chlorine, as bromine is easier on the skin/hair and not potent smelling.
For stays of 3 or more nights, owner will work with guests to coordinate a time to access property for pool and hot tub water testing.
If traveling with pets, please advise host in advance with breed and weight. If approved there is a $150 pet fee per pet due to the extra cleaning required. Absolutely NO dogs in the pool and please make sure to clean up outside after your pet upon your departure.
Please--if anything is broken/damaged, let me know ASAP. I need to know if it's possible for glass to have gotten in the pool (This is a safety issue) or if anything needs immediate repair or deep cleaning before next guests' arrival, which often is the same day.
The Fox and Illinois rivers are very close and boat access is minutes away with 8 free public boat ramps. My driveway is long and likely can accommodate a truck/trailer with a fishing or speed boat or it can be parked on Pearl St. If traveling with a boat/trailer, please inquire to confirm.
